فيما وصل نحو 642 نازحاً من الفاشر إلى منطقة الدبة بالولاية الشمالية، بعد رحلة شاقة محفوفة بالمخاطر جراء المجازر التي ترتكبها قوات الدعم السريع، أعلنت شبكة أطباء السودان، اليوم (السبت)، أنها تتابع بقلق بالغ تزايد حركة النزوح من عاصمة ولاية شمال دارفور.
وأفادت الشبكة في بيان بأن النازحين يعيشون أوضاعاً إنسانية قاسية، في ظل انعدام المأوى ونقص الغذاء والمياه الصالحة للشرب وغياب الخدمات الصحية الأساسية، خاصة بين الأطفال والنساء وكبار السن.
وذكرت أن الأسر الفارة من ويلات الحرب لجأت إلى الولاية الشمالية بحثاً عن الأمان، إلا أنها تواجه الآن تحديات معيشية خطيرة تفوق قدرة المجتمعات المستضيفة على الاستجابة لها، مع توقعات بأن يتضاعف عدد الوافدين بشكل كبير خلال الأيام القادمة نتيجة استمرار تدهور الأوضاع في دارفور.
وناشدت شبكة أطباء السودان السلطات المحلية والمنظمات الإنسانية والإغاثية داخل السودان وخارجه بالتحرك العاجل لتقديم المساعدات الطبية والغذائية العاجلة، وتوفير المأوى والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي للنازحين، تفادياً لانهيار الوضع الإنساني بشكل كامل. وأكدت أن الاستجابة السريعة في هذه اللحظة الحرجة قد تنقذ آلاف الأرواح التي أنهكها النزوح والجوع والخوف.
من جانبها، دعت تنسيقية النازحين في دارفور المجتمع الدولي إلى الضغط على طرفي الصراع لوقف إطلاق النار فوراً، محذرة من كارثة إنسانية متفاقمة في المنطقة. وكشفت أن أكثر من 36 ألف شخص فروا من مدينة الفاشر خلال الأيام الأخيرة، وأن النازحين بحاجة ماسة للغذاء والمساعدات العاجلة.
وأكدت أن الأوضاع الإنسانية خرجت عن السيطرة في ظل غياب الحماية ونقص الإمدادات، مطالبة بتأمين ممرات آمنة لإيصال الإغاثة إلى المدنيين.
وتمكنت قوات الدعم السريع من السيطرة على عاصمة إقليم شمال دارفور خلال مطلع الأسبوع الماضي. ولاذ عشرات الآلاف من السكان بالفرار عقب سقوط المدينة، ووردت تقارير عن أعمال عنف واسعة النطاق ارتكبتها قوات الدعم السريع.
وكان المتحدث باسم الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، ستيفان دوجاريك، شدد على ضرورة استعادة الاتصالات وتوفير ممر آمن للمدنيين الفارين. وأشار إلى أن النازحين باتوا يتعرضون للاختطاف والابتزاز.
وحذرت الأمم المتحدة من أن الوضع الإنساني في السودان لا يزال مروعاً، مشيرة إلى أن ولاية شمال دارفور لا تزال كارثية مع استمرار الهجمات على المدنيين وصعوبة وصول المساعدات.
As approximately 642 displaced individuals arrived from El Fasher to the Al-Dabba area in the Northern State after a perilous journey fraught with dangers due to the massacres committed by the Rapid Support Forces, the Sudanese Doctors Network announced today (Saturday) that it is closely monitoring the alarming increase in displacement from the capital of North Darfur State.
The network stated in a statement that the displaced individuals are living in harsh humanitarian conditions, amid a lack of shelter, food, and clean drinking water, as well as the absence of basic health services, especially among children, women, and the elderly.
It mentioned that families fleeing the ravages of war have sought refuge in the Northern State in search of safety, but they are now facing severe living challenges that exceed the capacity of the host communities to respond, with expectations that the number of arrivals will significantly double in the coming days due to the continued deterioration of conditions in Darfur.
The Sudanese Doctors Network urged local authorities and humanitarian and relief organizations inside and outside Sudan to take urgent action to provide immediate medical and food assistance, as well as shelter and psychological and social support for the displaced, to avoid a complete collapse of the humanitarian situation. It emphasized that a swift response at this critical moment could save thousands of lives that have been worn down by displacement, hunger, and fear.
For its part, the Displaced Persons Coordination in Darfur called on the international community to pressure both parties in the conflict to cease fire immediately, warning of a worsening humanitarian disaster in the region. It revealed that more than 36,000 people have fled from the city of El Fasher in recent days, and that the displaced are in urgent need of food and immediate assistance.
It confirmed that the humanitarian situation has spiraled out of control in the absence of protection and a lack of supplies, calling for secure corridors to deliver aid to civilians.
The Rapid Support Forces managed to take control of the capital of North Darfur Province at the beginning of last week. Tens of thousands of residents fled after the city fell, and reports have emerged of widespread violence committed by the Rapid Support Forces.
The spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Stéphane Dujarric, emphasized the need to restore communications and provide a safe passage for fleeing civilians. He noted that the displaced are now facing kidnapping and extortion.
The United Nations warned that the humanitarian situation in Sudan remains horrific, indicating that North Darfur State is still in a catastrophic state with ongoing attacks on civilians and difficulties in accessing aid.
