أعلنت قوات الدعم السريع في السودان، الخميس، القبض على شخص يُدعى «أبو لولو» في مدينة الفاشر بولاية شمال دارفور، بعد اتهامه بارتكاب انتهاكات جسيمة ضد مدنيين خلال المعارك التي شهدتها المدينة أخيراً.
وقالت القوات، في بيان عبر حسابها على تطبيق «تيليغرام»، إن عملية القبض جرت تنفيذاً لتوجيهات قيادتها والتزاماً بالقانون والانضباط العسكري أثناء الحرب، مؤكدة بدء التحقيق معه بواسطة لجنة قانونية مختصة تمهيداً لتقديمه إلى العدالة.
وفي المقابل، أوضح المتحدث باسم الدعم السريع الفاتح قرشي أن المتهم «لا يُعد من منسوبي القوات»، وأن السلطات المختصة لم تتعرف عليه مسبقاً، مشيراً إلى تشكيل لجنة لتقصي الحقائق حول هويته الحقيقية وعلاقته بأي جهة عسكرية أو أمنية.
وأكدت القوات في بيانها أن هذا الإجراء يأتي في إطار «منع أي تجاوزات أو انتهاكات تمس الكرامة الإنسانية أو تتعارض مع المواثيق الدولية، وفي مقدمتها اتفاقيات جنيف»، مشددة على التزامها الكامل بمحاسبة كل من يثبت تورطه في أي أعمال خارجة عن القانون.
يُذكر أن اسم «أبو لولو» برز في مقاطع مصورة متداولة خلال الأسابيع الماضية، ظهر فيها ينفذ إعدامات ميدانية في الفاشر ضد مدنيين، ما أثار موجة غضب واسعة داخل السودان وخارجه ودعوات لمحاسبته.
The Rapid Support Forces in Sudan announced on Thursday the arrest of a person named "Abu Lulu" in the city of El Fasher in North Darfur, after he was accused of committing serious violations against civilians during the recent battles in the city.
The forces stated in a statement via their account on the "Telegram" application that the arrest was carried out in accordance with the directives of their leadership and in compliance with the law and military discipline during wartime, confirming that an investigation has begun with him by a specialized legal committee in preparation for presenting him to justice.
In contrast, the spokesman for the Rapid Support Forces, Al-Fateh Qurashi, clarified that the accused "is not considered a member of the forces," and that the relevant authorities had not previously identified him, noting that a committee has been formed to investigate the truth about his real identity and his relationship with any military or security entity.
The forces emphasized in their statement that this action comes within the framework of "preventing any violations or abuses that affect human dignity or contradict international treaties, foremost among them the Geneva Conventions," stressing their full commitment to hold accountable anyone proven to be involved in any illegal activities.
It is noteworthy that the name "Abu Lulu" has emerged in circulated video clips over the past weeks, in which he was seen carrying out field executions in El Fasher against civilians, sparking widespread outrage both inside and outside Sudan and calls for accountability.
