كشفت مصادر مطلعة اعتقال أمين سر ما يسمى «المجلس السياسي الحوثي» ياسر الحوري، بشبهة التخابر مع جهات خارجية.
ونقلت قناتا «العربية، الحدث»، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، عن المصادر تأكيدها أن جماعة الحوثي نفذت حملة اعتقالات واسعة طالت عدداً من عناصرها على خلفية التجسس.
ولفتت إلى خطف الجماعة عدداً من الموظفين الأمميين على خلفيات اتصالاتهم بالقيادي الحوثي جمال عامر.
وكانت عناصر حوثية اقتحمت قبل يومين مكاتب الأمم المتحدة في العاصمة اليمينة صنعاء، واعتقلت عدداً من الموظفين الأمميين. وقال المتحدث باسم الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة ستيفان دوجاريك، أمس الاثنين، إن موظفاً آخر بالمنظمة الدولية اعتُقل، ما رفع عدد موظفي المنظمة الدولية الذين اعتقلوا في الأيام الأخيرة إلى 6.
وأعلن دوجاريك أن 59 موظفاً من الأمم المتحدة على الأقل محتجزون لدى جماعة الحوثي، بعضهم منذ سنوات.
وبحسب الأمم المتحدة، فإن الحوثيين اتخذوا خطوات جعلت من «الصعب بشكل متزايد» على الوكالة تقديم المساعدة للمحتاجين في البلاد.
Informed sources revealed the arrest of the Secretary of the so-called "Houthi Political Council," Yasser Al-Houri, on suspicion of espionage with foreign entities.
The channels "Al-Arabiya" and "Al-Hadath" reported today (Tuesday) that the sources confirmed that the Houthi group carried out a wide campaign of arrests targeting several of its members on the grounds of espionage.
It pointed out that the group kidnapped a number of UN employees due to their communications with the Houthi leader Jamal Amer.
Houthi elements stormed the United Nations offices in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, two days ago, and arrested several UN employees. The spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Stefan Dujarric, stated yesterday (Monday) that another employee of the international organization was arrested, raising the number of international organization employees detained in recent days to 6.
Dujarric announced that at least 59 UN employees are being held by the Houthi group, some of whom have been detained for years.
According to the United Nations, the Houthis have taken steps that have made it "increasingly difficult" for the agency to provide assistance to those in need in the country.
