أقرّ رئيس مجلس السيادة السوداني عبدالفتاح البرهان اليوم (الإثنين) بسقوط مدينة الفاشر بيد قوات الدعم السريع، مؤكداً أن تقدير القيادة في الفاشر كان مغادرة المدينة بسبب ما تعرضت له من تدمير ممنهج.
وقال البرهان في كلمة متلفزة: «قواتنا قادرة على تحقيق النصر وقلب الطاولة واستعادة الأراضي»، مضيفاً «قادرون وعازمون على أن نمضي حتى نطهر هذه الأرض».
الشعب سيحاسب المجرمين
وأشار إلى أن الشعب السوداني والقوات المسلحة ستنتصر، مبيناً أن الجرائم التي ارتُكبت الآن وقبل ذلك في الفاشر، وكل بقاع السودان على مرأى ومسمع من العالم، ومخالفات قرارات مجلس الأمن والأعراف الدولية، يتم انتهاكها ولا أحد يتحدث عن ذلك.
وأشار إلى أن الشعب السوداني سيحاسب هؤلاء المجرمين وسيقتص لكل من لحقته اليد الغادرة الظالمة التي لا تنتمي إلى هذا الشعب.
وكان حاكم إقليم دارفور رئيس حركة «جيش تحرير السودان» مني أركو مناوي قد قال في وقت سابق اليوم إن «سقوط الفاشر لا يعني التفريط في مستقبل دارفور لصالح جماعات العنف، وكل شبر سيعود لأهله»، مشدداً على ضرورة حماية المدنيين في الإقليم، وإجراء تحقيق مستقل في الانتهاكات التي تحصل بعيداً عن الأنظار.
«الدعم السريع» تعلن سيطرتها على المدينة
وكانت «قوات الدعم السريع» قد أعلنت، أمس، سيطرتها على مدينة الفاشر، عاصمة ولاية شمال دارفور غرب البلاد وتعهدت بضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى المحتاجين وتأمين القوافل والعاملين بالمجال الإنساني.
واشار إلى أنها ستوفر ممرات آمنة لكل من يرغب في الانتقال إلى مناطق أخرى، وإعادة الحياة إلى طبيعتها بما في ذلك إعادة فتح الأسواق، والمستشفيات، والمرافق الخدمية كافة، وإزالة الألغام، والتعامل مع جثامين الضحايا، وتكليف الشرطة الفيدرالية بحفظ الأمن بعد استكمال تأمين المدينة.
The head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, acknowledged today (Monday) the fall of the city of El Fasher to the Rapid Support Forces, confirming that the leadership's assessment in El Fasher was to leave the city due to the systematic destruction it faced.
Al-Burhan stated in a televised speech: "Our forces are capable of achieving victory, turning the tables, and reclaiming the land," adding, "We are capable and determined to continue until we cleanse this land."
The People Will Hold the Criminals Accountable
He pointed out that the Sudanese people and the armed forces will prevail, indicating that the crimes committed now and previously in El Fasher, and throughout Sudan, are happening under the watchful eyes of the world, and violations of Security Council resolutions and international norms are being ignored without anyone speaking about it.
He emphasized that the Sudanese people will hold these criminals accountable and will seek justice for everyone who has been harmed by the treacherous and unjust hand that does not belong to this people.
Earlier today, the governor of Darfur and head of the "Sudan Liberation Army" movement, Mini Arko Minawi, stated that "the fall of El Fasher does not mean compromising the future of Darfur in favor of violent groups; every inch will return to its people," stressing the necessity of protecting civilians in the region and conducting an independent investigation into the violations occurring away from public view.
“Rapid Support” Announces Its Control Over the City
The "Rapid Support Forces" announced yesterday that they had taken control of the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state in the west of the country, and pledged to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to those in need and to secure convoys and humanitarian workers.
They indicated that they would provide safe corridors for anyone wishing to move to other areas and restore normal life, including reopening markets, hospitals, and all service facilities, clearing mines, handling the remains of victims, and assigning the federal police to maintain security after securing the city.
