ألقت قوات الأمن السورية، اليوم (الإثنين)، القبض على النائب العام العسكري السابق في نظام بشار الأسد، نائف درغام، وفقاً للمكتب الإعلامي لقيادة الأمن الداخلي في اللاذقية، شمال غربي البلاد.
وقالت وزارة الداخلية السورية، إنه جرى القبض على درغام من قبل مديرية الأمن الداخلي في مدينة اللاذقية، بالتعاون مع فرع مكافحة الإرهاب، وبعد متابعة دقيقة ورصد متواصل، مبينة أن اللواء نائف صالح درغام، المنحدر من قرية الشامية بريف اللاذقية الشمالي متورط في ارتكاب انتهاكات جسيمة بحق المدنيين خلال فترة حكم نظام الرئيس السابق بشار الأسد.
وأشارت إلى أن درغام يُعدّ من الشخصيات التي شغلت مناصب قيادية في مؤسسات الدولة آنذاك، من بينها منصب النائب العام العسكري، الذي كانت تتبع له المحاكم العسكرية والميدانية في تلك الفترة، معلنة إحالته إلى الجهات المختصة لاستكمال التحقيقات، تمهيداً لعرضه على القضاء المختص واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقه.
وتعمل الإدارة السورية الجديدة على ضبط الأوضاع الأمنية في البلاد، وملاحقة فلول النظام السابق.
The Syrian security forces arrested the former military prosecutor in Bashar al-Assad's regime, Naif Durgam, today (Monday), according to the media office of the Internal Security Forces in Latakia, northwest of the country.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated that Durgam was apprehended by the Internal Security Directorate in the city of Latakia, in cooperation with the Anti-Terrorism Branch, after careful monitoring and continuous surveillance. It indicated that Major General Naif Saleh Durgam, who hails from the village of Al-Shamiya in northern Latakia, is involved in committing serious violations against civilians during the rule of former President Bashar al-Assad.
It pointed out that Durgam is considered one of the figures who held leadership positions in state institutions at that time, including the position of military prosecutor, which oversaw military and field courts during that period. It announced his referral to the relevant authorities to complete the investigations, in preparation for presenting him to the competent judiciary and taking the necessary legal actions against him.
The new Syrian administration is working to stabilize the security situation in the country and pursue the remnants of the former regime.
