أعلن وزير الدفاع، يسرائيل كاتس، رفع حالة الطوارئ المعلنة في جنوب إسرائيل، لأول مرة منذ هجوم 7 أكتوبر 2023، مما سمح لقيادة الجبهة الداخلية التابعة للجيش بتقييد التجمعات وإغلاق مناطق معينة.
قال كاتس في بيان: «لقد قررت اعتماد توصية الجيش الإسرائيلي وإلغاء الوضع الخاص في الجبهة الداخلية، للمرة الأولى منذ 7 أكتوبر 2023»، موضحاً أن القرار يعكس الواقع الأمني الجديد في جنوب إسرائيل، الذي تحقق بفضل الإجراءات الحاسمة.
رفات المحتجزين
من جهة أخرى، أكدت مصادر في حركة حماس أن الحركة تبذل مع فصائل فلسطينية أخرى جهوداً مكثفة لاستكمال عمليات البحث عن رفات محتجزين إسرائيليين داخل قطاع غزة، وسط صعوبات ميدانية ونقص حاد في المعدات.
وقال المصدر، إن القيود المفروضة على إدخال المعدات الثقيلة وأجهزة البحث الحديثة إلى القطاع تعرقل عمليات الانتشال، مبيناً أن الجهود تبذل بشكل متواصل رغم الظروف المعقدة.
فريق الصليب الأحمر الدولي
وأضاف المصدر أن حماس تأمل في أن تسهم المنظمات الدولية، وعلى رأسها اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر، في توفير الدعم الفني والمعدات الضرورية لاستكمال العملية.
وكانت مصادر فلسطينية قد أكد أمس (الأحد)، دخول فريق تابع للجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر إلى مدينة رفح جنوبي القطاع، للمشاركة في البحث عن جثة الجندي الإسرائيلي هدار غولدن الذي فقد خلال اشتباك مع مقاتلي حماس في أغسطس 2024.
وتبادل الجانبان الإسرائيلي والفلسطيني خلال الأسابيع الماضية الاتهامات بشأن مصير المحتجزين ورفاتهم، في وقت يسود فيه القطاع هدوء حذر منذ دخول اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ في 10 أكتوبر الجاري.
Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the lifting of the state of emergency declared in southern Israel for the first time since the attack on October 7, 2023, allowing the army's Home Front Command to restrict gatherings and close certain areas.
Katz stated in a statement: "I have decided to adopt the recommendation of the Israel Defense Forces and cancel the special situation on the Home Front for the first time since October 7, 2023," explaining that the decision reflects the new security reality in southern Israel, which has been achieved thanks to decisive measures.
Remains of the Captives
On the other hand, sources in Hamas confirmed that the movement is making intensive efforts, along with other Palestinian factions, to complete the search operations for the remains of Israeli captives inside the Gaza Strip, amid field difficulties and a severe shortage of equipment.
The source stated that the restrictions on the entry of heavy equipment and modern search devices into the sector hinder the recovery operations, indicating that efforts are being made continuously despite the complex conditions.
International Red Cross Team
The source added that Hamas hopes international organizations, led by the International Committee of the Red Cross, will contribute to providing the technical support and necessary equipment to complete the operation.
Palestinian sources confirmed yesterday (Sunday) that a team from the International Committee of the Red Cross entered the city of Rafah in the southern sector to participate in the search for the body of Israeli soldier Hadar Goldin, who went missing during a clash with Hamas fighters in August 2024.
In recent weeks, both the Israeli and Palestinian sides have exchanged accusations regarding the fate of the captives and their remains, while a cautious calm has prevailed in the sector since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10.
