دعا حاكم إقليم دارفور المتحالف مع الجيش السوداني مني مناوي، اليوم (الإثنين)، إلى حماية المدنيين في مدينة الفاشر حيث تتفشى المجاعة، بعدما أعلنت قوات الدعم السريع السيطرة عليها.
وطالب مناوي بحماية المدنيين، والإفصاح عن مصير النازحين، وإجراء تحقيق مستقل في الانتهاكات والمجازر التي تقوم بها قوات الدعم السريع بعيداً عن الأنظار.
من جانبها، اتهمت «شبكة أطباء السودان» قوات الدعم السريع بتصفية العشرات على أساس عرقي في، مؤكدة أنها نهبت المرافق الطبية والصيدليات.
وأفادت الشبكة، في بيان صحفي، بأن قوات الدعم السريع أقدمت، مساء أمس الأحد، في الفاشر على «قتل مواطنين عُزّل» على أساس عرقي، مضيفة أن تقارير فرقها الميدانية تشير إلى أن «أعداد الضحايا تفوق العشرات، في ظل صعوبة الوصول إلى المناطق المنكوبة بسبب الانفلات الأمني الكامل الذي تسببت به الدعم السريع».
وأكدت الشبكة أن ما يحدث في الفاشر ضد المدنيين يرتقي للقتل الجماعي، وأضافت أن قوات الدعم السريع نهبت المستشفيات والمرافق الطبية والصيدليات في المناطق التي اقتحمتها.
وحمّلت «شبكة أطباء السودان» الدعم السريع المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الجرائم، مطالبة الأمم المتحدة، ومنظمة الصحة العالمية، والمجتمع الدولي بأسره بالتحرّك الفوري والفعلي لوقف المجازر، وحماية المدنيين، ومحاسبة الجناة أمام العدالة الدولية.
يذكر أن قوات الدعم السريع أعلنت، أمس، أنها سيطرت بالكامل على مدينة الفاشر، عاصمة ولاية شمال دارفور في غربي السودان.
وتعد الفاشر آخر مركز إداري رئيسي في منطقة دارفور السودانية لا يزال تحت سيطرة الجيش السوداني. وكانت تخضع لحصار مكثف من قبل قوات الدعم السريع منذ أشهر عدة، ما أدى إلى سقوط الكثير من الضحايا وتفاقم الأزمة الإنسانية.
The governor of the Darfur region allied with the Sudanese army, Mini Minawi, called today (Monday) for the protection of civilians in the city of El Fasher, where famine is spreading, after the Rapid Support Forces announced their control over it.
Minawi demanded the protection of civilians, the disclosure of the fate of the displaced, and an independent investigation into the violations and massacres committed by the Rapid Support Forces away from public view.
For its part, the "Sudan Doctors Network" accused the Rapid Support Forces of ethnically cleansing dozens, confirming that they looted medical facilities and pharmacies.
The network stated in a press release that the Rapid Support Forces had carried out, last night (Sunday), in El Fasher, the "killing of unarmed citizens" on an ethnic basis, adding that reports from its field teams indicate that "the number of victims exceeds dozens, amid the difficulty of accessing the affected areas due to the complete security breakdown caused by the Rapid Support Forces."
The network confirmed that what is happening in El Fasher against civilians amounts to mass killing, adding that the Rapid Support Forces looted hospitals, medical facilities, and pharmacies in the areas they invaded.
The "Sudan Doctors Network" held the Rapid Support Forces fully responsible for these crimes, calling on the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and the entire international community to take immediate and effective action to stop the massacres, protect civilians, and hold the perpetrators accountable before international justice.
It is worth noting that the Rapid Support Forces announced yesterday that they had completely taken control of the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state in western Sudan.
El Fasher is the last major administrative center in the Sudanese Darfur region still under the control of the Sudanese army. It had been under intense siege by the Rapid Support Forces for several months, leading to many casualties and worsening the humanitarian crisis.
