سلطت صحف عالمية الضوء على تداعيات الحرب على قطاع غزة والتحركات الجارية للحفاظ على صفقة الهدنة وتبادل الأسرى، وسط تحذيرات من تصعيد جديد قد يهدد الجهود الأمريكية لتحقيق الاستقرار في المنطقة.
ورأت صحيفة «وول ستريت جورنال» الأمريكية أن إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترمب تكثف ضغوطها على كل من إسرائيل وحركة حماس لتجنب أي تصعيد قد ينسف اتفاق وقف الحرب.
وأفادت بأن المبعوثين الأمريكيين ستيف ويتكوف وصهر الرئيس جاريد كوشنر، أبلغا رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو رسالة واضحة بضرورة الاكتفاء بـ«رد متناسب» على أي خروقات مزعومة من جانب حماس.
فيما أكدت صحيفة «لوموند» الفرنسية في افتتاحيتها، أن نجاح ترمب في وقف القتال بغزة «لا يمكن إنكاره»، لكنها حذرت من أن استمرار العقبات الميدانية خصوصا تذبذب دخول المساعدات الإنسانية.
واعتبرت أن تلك العقبات تعكس عمق التحديات التي تواجه خطته لإعادة إطلاق عملية سياسية قد تفضي إلى إقامة دولة فلسطينية في المستقبل، داعية إلى دعم الجهود الأمريكية بقرار من مجلس الأمن يعزز فرص نجاح التسوية.
بدورها، حذرت صحيفة «جيروزاليم بوست» الإسرائيلية من أن سلسلة الانتكاسات التي يشهدها اتفاق وقف الحرب في غزة قد تضع «أواصر الصداقة بين الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل على المحك».
وتوقعت أن تضطر تل أبيب إلى اتخاذ قرارات «صعبة» تُختبر فيها متانة العلاقات مع واشنطن.
ورأت صحيفة «هآرتس»، أن اتفاق غزة يمنح «أملا لاتفاق آخر» بين إسرائيل ولبنان، مشيرة إلى أن التحول في الموقف الأمريكي من حرب غزة قد يفتح الباب لتسوية أوسع بضغط من واشنطن، رغم تعقيدات الساحة اللبنانية.

The American newspaper "The Wall Street Journal" noted that the administration of President Donald Trump is intensifying its pressure on both Israel and Hamas to avoid any escalation that could undermine the ceasefire agreement.
It reported that American envoys Steve Witkoff and the president's son-in-law Jared Kushner conveyed a clear message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the necessity of limiting any response to a "proportional" reaction to any alleged violations by Hamas.
Meanwhile, the French newspaper "Le Monde" confirmed in its editorial that Trump's success in stopping the fighting in Gaza "cannot be denied," but it warned that the ongoing field obstacles, particularly the fluctuation in the entry of humanitarian aid, remain a concern.
It considered that these obstacles reflect the depth of the challenges facing his plan to relaunch a political process that could lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state in the future, calling for support for American efforts through a Security Council resolution that enhances the chances of a successful settlement.
For its part, the Israeli newspaper "The Jerusalem Post" warned that the series of setbacks experienced by the ceasefire agreement in Gaza could put "the bonds of friendship between the United States and Israel at risk."
It anticipated that Tel Aviv might have to make "difficult" decisions that would test the strength of its relations with Washington.
The newspaper "Haaretz" viewed that the Gaza agreement provides "hope for another agreement" between Israel and Lebanon, noting that the shift in the American stance on the Gaza war could open the door to a broader settlement under pressure from Washington, despite the complexities of the Lebanese arena.
