زيلينسكي يطالب بتجميد الحرب مع روسيا

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called today (Sunday) for a freeze on the war with Russia along the current front lines before both sides enter peace negotiations.
Zelensky said in a press interview: “I understand that we need to end this war, and starting this end from where the soldiers are, from the contact line,” adding: “If we want to stop this war and urgently go to peace negotiations diplomatically, we need to stay where we are, not give anything extra to Putin.”
The Washington Post reported that unnamed senior officials revealed that during a lengthy call with Trump on October 16, Putin demanded that Kyiv concede full control of Donetsk, a vital strategic area in eastern Ukraine, as a condition for ending the war. In response, Zelensky posted a video on social media, affirming that his country would not give anything to the Russians.
He added: Putin's words will not stop the war, calling for intensified international pressure on him.
Trump had stated that he plans to meet with his Russian counterpart in Hungary in the coming weeks to continue discussions on how to end the war.
