حذّر الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين من أن إمداد الولايات المتحدة لأوكرانيا بصواريخ «توماهوك»، يهدد بتدمير العلاقات الروسية الأمريكية. وقال بوتين في مقطع فيديو نُشر، اليوم (الأحد): «سيؤدي ذلك إلى تدمير علاقاتنا، أو على الأقل الاتجاهات الإيجابية التي ظهرت في هذه العلاقات». وأضاف أن هناك أسئلة تتعلق مثلاً بمناقشة قضايا توريد أنظمة أسلحة جديدة، بما في ذلك أنظمة بعيدة المدى وعالية الدقة، وصواريخ (توماهوك) وما إلى ذلك. لقد قلت إن هذا سيؤدي إلى تدمير علاقاتنا، على الأقل المنحى الإيجابي الناشئ فيها.
وكان الرئيس الروسي، حذّر من أن استخدام كييف لصواريخ «توماهوك» سيضر بالعلاقات بين روسيا والولايات المتحدة، لافتاً إلى أن استخدام هذه الصواريخ من قبل أوكرانيا دون مشاركة مباشرة من العسكريين الأمريكيين أمر مستحيل.
رد روسي مناسب
وهدد الكرملين، الخميس، بأن روسيا سترد بـ «شكل مناسب» على أي نقل محتمل لصواريخ «توماهوك» إلى أوكرانيا، مضيفاً أن الولايات المتحدة تواصل مشاركة المعلومات الاستخباراتية بشكل مباشر مع كييف.
وحذر المتحدث باسم الرئاسة الروسية دميتري بيسكوف خلال مؤتمر صحفي في موسكو، من أن تزويد الولايات المتحدة لأوكرانيا بصواريخ «توماهوك»، سيعني «جولة جديدة خطيرة من التوتر».
وحول على تزويد واشنطن لكييف بالمعلومات الاستخباراتية، قال بيسكوف: إن «البنية التحتية لواشنطن، وحلف شمال الأطلسي منخرطة بوضوح في جمع هذه المعلومات ونقلها».
وكان بيسكوف يرد حينها على تصريحات مسؤولين أمريكيين، نقلت عنهم «وول ستريت جورنال» قولهم: إن الولايات المتحدة تعتزم تزويد أوكرانيا بمعلومات استخباراتية لشن هجمات صاروخية بعيدة المدى تستهدف البنية التحتية للطاقة داخل روسيا.
وأوضح المسؤولون أن ترمب وافق أخيراً على السماح لأجهزة الاستخبارات ووزارة الدفاع «البنتاغون» بدعم كييف في هذه الضربات، فيما تطلب واشنطن من حلفائها في حلف شمال الأطلسي «الناتو» تقديم دعم مماثل.
مصادرة الأموال الروسية
وفيما قدمت واشنطن مساعدات سابقة لعمليات أوكرانية بطائرات مسيرة وصواريخ قصيرة المدى، فإن مشاركة الاستخبارات الأمريكية ستتيح لكييف ضرب مصافي نفط وأنابيب وخطوط طاقة ومحطات توليد بعيدة عن حدودها، بهدف حرمان الكرملين من العائدات والموارد النفطية اللازمة لمواصلة الحرب.
ووصف بيسكوف النقاشات الأوروبية بشأن مصادرة الأصول الروسية بأنها تشبه سلوك «عصابة» يتقاسم أفرادها الأدوار بين السرقة والحراسة، مشدداً على أن أي مصادرة محتملة «لن تمر دون رد من موسكو».
وقال إن روسيا سترد بحماية مصالحها بحزم، وبضمان محاسبة المتورطين في هذه الخطوات غير القانونية.
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the United States' supply of "Tomahawk" missiles to Ukraine threatens to destroy Russian-American relations. Putin said in a video clip released today (Sunday): "This will lead to the destruction of our relations, or at least the positive trends that have emerged in these relations." He added that there are questions related, for example, to discussing issues of supplying new weapon systems, including long-range and high-precision systems, Tomahawk missiles, and so on. Russian President warned that Ukraine's use of "Tomahawk" missiles would harm relations between Russia and the United States, noting that the use of these missiles by Ukraine without direct involvement from American military personnel is impossible.
Appropriate Russian Response
The Kremlin threatened on Thursday that Russia would respond "appropriately" to any potential transfer of "Tomahawk" missiles to Ukraine, adding that the United States continues to share intelligence information directly with Kyiv.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned during a press conference in Moscow that the U.S. supplying Ukraine with "Tomahawk" missiles would mean "a dangerous new round of tension."
Regarding Washington's provision of intelligence to Kyiv, Peskov said: "The infrastructure of Washington and NATO is clearly involved in collecting and transferring this information."
Peskov was responding at the time to statements from American officials, reported by the "Wall Street Journal," who said that the United States intends to provide Ukraine with intelligence to carry out long-range missile attacks targeting energy infrastructure within Russia.
Officials clarified that Trump had recently approved allowing intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense (Pentagon) to support Kyiv in these strikes, while Washington is asking its NATO allies to provide similar support.
Seizing Russian Funds
While Washington has previously provided assistance for Ukrainian operations with drones and short-range missiles, American intelligence participation will enable Kyiv to strike oil refineries, pipelines, and power plants far from its borders, aiming to deprive the Kremlin of the revenues and oil resources needed to continue the war.
Peskov described European discussions about seizing Russian assets as resembling the behavior of a "gang" where members share roles between theft and guarding, emphasizing that any potential seizure "will not go unanswered by Moscow."
He stated that Russia would respond firmly to protect its interests and ensure accountability for those involved in these illegal actions.
