رغم مطالبة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إسرائيل بوقف القصف الإسرائيلي على غزة، بعد موافقة حماس على خطته لوقف الحرب، شنت قوات الاحتلال، اليوم (السبت) هجوماً جوياً ومدفعياً على مناطق عدة في القطاع المدمّر، أسفر عن سقوط قتلى ومصابين. واستهدفت غارات جوية عدة أحياء في مدينة غزة ومناطق أخرى في القطاع، بينها خان يونس في الجنوب. وأعلنت مصادر طبية مقتل 16 فلسطينياً، 15 منهم في مدينة غزة.
تحذير من العودة
وحذر جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي سكان مدينة غزة وشمال القطاع من العودة إلى مناطقهم. وقال في منشور على منصة إكس: إن المنطقة الواقعة شمال وادي غزة لا تزال تعتبر منطقة قتال خطيرة، وإن البقاء فيها يشكل خطراً كبيراً.
وألقت طائرات حربية إسرائيلية منشورات على محيط مجمع الشفاء غربي مدينة غزة تدعو السكان للإخلاء نحو الجنوب.
وكان مئات الآلاف نزحوا، أخيراً، من مدينة غزة نحو وسط وجنوب القطاع فراراً من القصف.
قتلى ومصابون
وأفادت مصادر طبية بمقتل 6 وإصابة آخرين في غارتين على حي التفاح شرقي المدينة. وفي حي النصر غربي المدينة، أصيب 5 فلسطينيين، صباح اليوم، بنيران مسيّرة إسرائيلية. وأعلن مستشفى الشفاء انتشال جثامين 5 قتلى إثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت الليلة الماضية منزلاً غربي مدينة غزة.
وقصفت طائرات الاحتلال مركزاً تابعاً لوكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (أونروا) يؤوي نازحين في حي الرمال غربي مدينة غزة بعد إخلائه قسراً.
وفي جنوب القطاع، أفاد مجمع ناصر الطبي في خان يونس بمقتل طفلين وإصابة آخرين في قصف مسيّرة إسرائيلية خيمة نازحين في منطقة المواصي غرب المدينة. وأصيبت طفلة برصاص الاحتلال قرب مدينة حمد السكنية شمال خان يونس، وفقاً لمصادر فلسطينية.
وفي وسط القطاع، أفادت مصادر فلسطينية بمقتل شخص في غارة على مخيم النصيرات وإصابة آخرين في قصف مدفعي شرق مخيم البريج.
تصاعد وتيرة الغارات
وتصاعدت وتيرة الغارات الإسرائيلية إلى مستوى ملحوظ مع استمرار القصف المدفعي على مدينة غزة ومناطق أخرى. وتحدث شهود عيان أن انخفاض حدة القصف شجع الناس في سوق مخيم النصيرات وسط قطاع غزة على الخروج والتسوق والتوجه نحو مناطق لا تنتشر فيها قوات الاحتلال.
وتعرّضت أحياء في مدينة غزة لقصف عنيف، في وقت متأخر من مساء أمس، وبالتزامن مع ذلك نفذ الاحتلال عمليات نسف جديدة للمنازل في إطار حملة التدمير الواسعة للمناطق السكنية. ووصف المتحدث باسم الدفاع المدني الرائد محمود بصل القصف على مدينة غزة الليلة الماضية بأنه «جنوني».
وتواصل العدوان الإسرائيلي على المدنيين المحاصرين رغم مطالبة الرئيس الأمريكي بوقف القصف بعد رد حماس على خطة وقف الحرب.
وأسفر القصف الإسرائيلي أمس الجمعة عن مقتل 63 فلسطينياً، منهم 38 في مدينة غزة.
ضحايا المجاعة
في غضون ذلك، أعلنت مصادر طبية وفاة طفلين نتيجة المجاعة وسوء التغذية خلال الساعات الـ24 الماضية. وذكرت أن عدد ضحايا الجوع وسوء التغذية في القطاع ارتفع إلى 459 شخصاً بينهم 154 طفلاً. وأضافت أن 6 قتلوا وأصيب 40 آخرون من المجوّعين بنيران الاحتلال أثناء محاولتهم الحصول على مساعدات خلال 24 ساعة.
وفي 22 أغسطس الماضي، تم رسمياً للمرة الأولى إعلان المجاعة في مدينة غزة.
Despite U.S. President Donald Trump's call for Israel to stop the bombing of Gaza after Hamas agreed to his plan to cease hostilities, occupation forces launched an aerial and artillery attack today (Saturday) on several areas in the devastated strip, resulting in casualties and injuries. Multiple airstrikes targeted neighborhoods in Gaza City and other areas in the strip, including Khan Younis in the south. Medical sources reported the death of 16 Palestinians, 15 of whom were in Gaza City.
Warning Against Returning
The Israeli occupation army warned residents of Gaza City and northern Gaza not to return to their areas. In a post on X platform, it stated that the area north of the Gaza Valley is still considered a dangerous combat zone, and remaining there poses a significant risk.
Israeli warplanes dropped leaflets around the Shifa complex west of Gaza City urging residents to evacuate southward.
Hundreds of thousands had recently fled from Gaza City to central and southern Gaza to escape the bombardment.
Casualties and Injuries
Medical sources reported the death of 6 and injuries to others in two airstrikes on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of the city. In the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of the city, 5 Palestinians were injured this morning by fire from an Israeli drone. Shifa Hospital announced the retrieval of the bodies of 5 victims following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house west of Gaza City last night.
Occupation aircraft bombed a center belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) that was sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City after it was forcibly evacuated.
In southern Gaza, the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported the deaths of two children and injuries to others in an Israeli drone strike on a tent for displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area west of the city. A girl was injured by occupation gunfire near the Hamad residential city north of Khan Younis, according to Palestinian sources.
In central Gaza, Palestinian sources reported the death of one person in an airstrike on the Al-Nuseirat camp and injuries to others in artillery shelling east of the Al-Bureij camp.
Increase in Airstrikes
The frequency of Israeli airstrikes has noticeably increased with continued artillery bombardment of Gaza City and other areas. Eyewitnesses reported that the decrease in the intensity of the bombardment encouraged people in the Al-Nuseirat camp market in central Gaza to go out shopping and head towards areas where occupation forces are not present.
Neighborhoods in Gaza City were subjected to heavy bombardment late last night, and at the same time, the occupation carried out new demolition operations on homes as part of the extensive destruction campaign against residential areas. The spokesperson for the Civil Defense, Major Mahmoud Bassal, described the bombardment on Gaza City last night as "insane."
The Israeli aggression against besieged civilians continues despite the U.S. President's call to stop the bombardment following Hamas's response to the ceasefire plan.
The Israeli bombardment yesterday, Friday, resulted in the deaths of 63 Palestinians, including 38 in Gaza City.
Victims of Famine
Meanwhile, medical sources announced the death of two children due to famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours. They reported that the number of victims of hunger and malnutrition in the strip has risen to 459, including 154 children. They added that 6 were killed and 40 others were injured by occupation fire while trying to obtain aid within 24 hours.
On August 22, for the first time, famine was officially declared in Gaza City.
