في جريمة جديدة تضاف إلى جرائم الإبادة الإسرائيلية، صوتت لجنة الأمن القومي في الكنيست الإسرائيلي في قراءة أولى، اليوم (الإثنين)، لصالح تمرير مشروع قانون يتيح إعدام الأسرى الفلسطينيين في السجون الإسرائيلية، المسمى «قانون عقوبة الإعدام للإرهابيين».
وذكرت صحيفة «تايمز أوف إسرائيل» أن اللجنة أحالت مشروع القانون إلى التصويت في الجلسة العامة، في خطوة مثيرة للجدل داخل الأوساط السياسية والقانونية في إسرائيل، موضحة أن مشروع القانون حصل على موافقة اللجنة بأربعة أصوات مقابل معارضة صوت واحد فقط.
تصويت إسرائيلي غير قانوني
ونقلت الصحيفة عن مصدر قوله: «رغم الموافقة، إلا أن المستشار القانوني للجنة عدو بن يسحاق، حذّر من أن التصويت الذي جرى خلال عطلة الكنيست قد يكون غير قانوني»، مشيراً إلى غياب ممثلين من الأجهزة الأمنية وعدم وجود نقاش جوهري حول تفاصيل القانون.
وعبر المسؤول عن ملف الأسرى لدى رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي جال هيرش، عن قلقه من أن إقرار القانون قد يضر بالمحتجزين في قطاع غزة ويعقد جهود تحريرهم، فيما اعتبرت زوجة أحد الأسرى الإسرائيليين في غزة، أن القانون سيكون له انعكاسات سلبية على الأسرى.
مطالبات بإقالة بن غفير
وكتبت على حسابها في «إكس»: الناجون من الأسرى قالوا لنا بوضوح إن أي استعراض إعلامي حول عقوبة الإعدام للأسرى يؤدي إلى تشديد الظروف وزيادة العنف ضد الأسرى، موضحة أن نتنياهو وغال هيرش وبن غفير يعرفون ذلك.
وطالبت زوجة أحد الأسرى بضرورة إقالة بن غفير الذي دعا إلى إقرار القانون، فيما نددت عائلات الأسرى بالقانون ووصفته بأنه إصرار واضح من حكومة نتنياهو على إفشال الصفقة وقتل أبنائهم في غزة.
واقترحت القانون النائبة عن حزب «عوتسما يهوديت» ليمور سون هار ميليش، رغم أنه قد رفض سابقاً بسبب معارضة الائتلاف الحاكم، والمخاوف من أنه قد يضر بالجهود الرامية إلى إطلاق سراح الأسرى.
In a new crime added to the list of Israeli genocide, the National Security Committee in the Israeli Knesset voted today (Monday) in a first reading in favor of passing a bill that allows for the execution of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons, named the "Death Penalty for Terrorists Law."
The "Times of Israel" reported that the committee referred the bill for a vote in the plenary session, in a controversial step within political and legal circles in Israel, noting that the bill received the committee's approval by four votes to one opposing vote.
Illegal Israeli Vote
The newspaper quoted a source saying: "Despite the approval, the legal advisor to the committee, Adi Ben Yitzhak, warned that the vote held during the Knesset recess may be illegal," pointing out the absence of representatives from security agencies and the lack of substantial discussion regarding the details of the law.
The official responsible for the prisoners' file with the Israeli Prime Minister, Gal Hirsch, expressed concern that the enactment of the law could harm detainees in the Gaza Strip and complicate efforts to free them, while the wife of one of the Israeli prisoners in Gaza considered that the law would have negative repercussions on the prisoners.
Calls for Ben Gvir's Dismissal
She wrote on her account on "X": Survivors from the prisoners told us clearly that any media showcase regarding the death penalty for prisoners leads to harsher conditions and increased violence against the prisoners, clarifying that Netanyahu, Gal Hirsch, and Ben Gvir know this.
The wife of one of the prisoners demanded the dismissal of Ben Gvir, who called for the enactment of the law, while families of the prisoners condemned the law, describing it as a clear insistence from Netanyahu's government to sabotage the deal and kill their sons in Gaza.
The law was proposed by the member of the "Otzma Yehudit" party, Limor Son Har-Melech, although it had been previously rejected due to opposition from the ruling coalition and concerns that it might harm efforts to release the prisoners.
