للمرة الثانية، انسحب أعضاء وفود دولية خلال إلقاء رئيس وزراء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو كلمته أمام الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، اليوم (الجمعة)، وسط احتجاجات على وجوده وتصفيق تحية للمنسحبين. فيما استجاب جيش الاحتلال لطلب نتنياهو، بنشر مكبرات صوت في مناطق داخل قطاع غزة، لإجبار السكان على سماع خطابه.
ووفقا لصور متداولة، نشر جيش الاحتلال مكبرات الصوت على شاحنات تجوب العديد من مناطق القطاع المنكوب. ونقلت وسائل إعلام عبرية عن مصادر إسرائيلية قولها: إن الهدف هو الحرب النفسية، وقال ضابط كبير: «هذه فكرة جنونية، لا أحد يفهم الفائدة العسكرية من ذلك».
وبحسب القناة 12 الإسرائيلية طلب مكتب نتنياهو من الجيش الإسرائيلي في الأيام الأخيرة وضع مكبرات صوت في نقاط مختلفة داخل غزة، ليتمكن سكان القطاع من سماع خطاب نتنياهو في الأمم المتحدة.
نتنياهو مطلوب أمام المحكمة الدولية
ويواجه نتنياهو المتهم في قضية ارتكاب جرائم حرب وجرائم ضد الإنسانية أمام محكمة العدل الدولية انتقادات واسعة على خلفية الحرب الوحشية في قطاع غزة.
وعدّد نتنياهو ما اعتبره انتصارات لبلاده خلال المواجهات الأخيرة في الشرق الأوسط، إذ شن حربا على غزة والضفة الغربية ولبنان وإيران، إضافة إلى ضربات وتوغلات في سورية وغارات على الحوثيين في اليمن.
وقوبل صعود رئيس وزراء الاحتلال على منبر الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة لإلقاء كلمته بانسحاب عدد من وفود الدول المشاركة.
وتعهد نتنياهو بإعادة الرهائن، قائلا: «لن يهنأ لنا بال حتى إعادة كل الرهائن في غزة»، ويُعتقد أن 20 رهينة لا يزالون في القطاع، إلى جانب جثث رهائن آخرين. وزعم أن تهمة الإبادة الجماعية لا أساس لها من الصحة.
For the second time, members of international delegations walked out during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the United Nations General Assembly today (Friday), amid protests against his presence and applause for those who left. Meanwhile, the Israeli army responded to Netanyahu's request by deploying loudspeakers in areas within the Gaza Strip to force residents to listen to his speech.
According to circulated images, the Israeli army placed loudspeakers on trucks that roamed many areas of the besieged strip. Hebrew media reported Israeli sources saying that the aim is psychological warfare, and a senior officer stated, "This is a crazy idea; no one understands the military benefit of it."
According to Israeli Channel 12, Netanyahu's office recently requested the Israeli army to set up loudspeakers at various points inside Gaza so that residents of the strip could hear Netanyahu's speech at the United Nations.
Netanyahu Wanted by the International Court
Netanyahu, who is accused of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity before the International Court of Justice, faces widespread criticism over the brutal war in the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu listed what he considered victories for his country during the recent confrontations in the Middle East, as he waged wars on Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Iran, in addition to strikes and incursions in Syria and attacks on the Houthis in Yemen.
Netanyahu's ascent to the podium of the United Nations General Assembly to deliver his speech was met with the walkout of several participating country delegations.
Netanyahu pledged to return the hostages, stating, "We will not rest until all the hostages in Gaza are returned," and it is believed that 20 hostages are still in the strip, along with the bodies of other hostages. He claimed that the accusation of genocide is unfounded.
