أعلن الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، اليوم (الأحد)، إغلاق معبر الكرامة شرق الضفة الغربية المحتلة أمام حركة المسافرين القادمين والمغادرين وذلك بعد ساعات من إعلان السلطة الفلسطينية فتحه.
وأوضحت الإدارة العامة للمعابر والحدود، أن الجانب الإسرائيلي أغلق -وبشكل مفاجئ- المعبر في كلا الاتجاهين.
وكانت إسرائيل قد أغلقت المعبر عقب هجوم مسلح نفذه سائق شاحنة أردني أودى بحياة إسرائيليين اثنين، ويعد الواقع في مدينة أريحا الفلسطينية، الوحيد الواصل بين الضفة الغربية المحتلة والأردن، وتسيطر عليه إسرائيل من الجانب الفلسطيني، وله 3 تسميات أحدهما أردنية وهي «جسر الملك حسين»، وأخرى فلسطينية «الكرامة»، وإسرائيلية «اللنبي».
اقتحام الخليل
واقتحمت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مدينة الخليل (جنوبي الضفة الغربية) المحتلة اليوم، وبحسب وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية (وفا) فإن قوات الاحتلال اقتحمت عددا من الأحياء ومحيط الحرم الإبراهيمي الشريف، واعتقلت مدني بعد مداهمة وتفتيش منزل ذويه.
من جهة أخرى، أعلنت إسرائيل اليوم، عزل 3 قرى شمال غرب مدينة القدس المحتلة، وهي بيت إكسا والنبي صموئيل وحي الخلايلة، وفرض تصاريح دخول على سكانها تمهيدا لإخضاعها للسيطرة الإسرائيلية الكاملة.
ويهدف هذا القرار إلى تقييد حركة السكان والسيطرة على الأراضي وإعادة تصنيف السكان كمقيمين، في خطوة تتزامن مع توسع الاستيطان في منطقة (إي-1) شرقي المدينة الفلسطينية المقدسة.
وتزامن ذلك، مع اقتحام 162 مستوطنا اليوم، باحات المسجد الأقصى المبارك من جهة باب المغاربة، وبحماية مشددة من شرطة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
اعتقال نائبة فلسطينية
في غضون ذلك، اعتقلت الشرطة الإسرائيلية النائبة العربية السابقة في الكنيست الإسرائيلية عن التجمع الوطني الديمقراطي حنين الزعبي اليوم، بعد دهم منزلها في مدينة الناصرة بمنطقة الجليل داخل أراضي عام 1948، زاعمة أنها تحريض على الإرهاب.
وقال مدير مركز «عدالة» حسين جبارين إنهم لا يعرفون حتى هذه اللحظة تفاصيل التحقيق، ولكن أخبروها كما أعلمتني بأنهم اقتادوها إلى طبرية للتحقيق، بشبهة التحريض على الإرهاب ودعم منظمات إرهابية، مضيفاً: واضح أن هذا التوقيف غير قانوني، لأنه بالإمكان دعوتها بشكل عادي وطبيعي مع تحديد موعد ومكان للتحقيق دون اعتقال أو المجيء في ساعات الصباح الباكر إلى منزل عائلتها بمرافقة ستة أفراد شرطة للتوقيف بشبهات من هذا النوع.
ورأت أن قانونية التوقيف ستكون جزءا مركزيا في هذا الملف، في حال طلبت سلطات الاحتلال تمديد الاعتقال.
The Israeli occupation announced today (Sunday) the closure of the Al-Karama crossing east of the occupied West Bank to the movement of incoming and outgoing travelers, just hours after the Palestinian Authority announced its opening.
The General Administration of Crossings and Borders clarified that the Israeli side unexpectedly closed the crossing in both directions.
Israel had closed the crossing following an armed attack carried out by a Jordanian truck driver that resulted in the deaths of two Israelis. The crossing, located in the Palestinian city of Jericho, is the only link between the occupied West Bank and Jordan, and is controlled by Israel from the Palestinian side. It has three names: one Jordanian, "King Hussein Bridge," one Palestinian, "Al-Karama," and one Israeli, "Allenby."
Incursion into Hebron
Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Hebron (in the southern West Bank) today. According to the Palestinian news agency (Wafa), the occupation forces raided several neighborhoods and the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque, arresting a civilian after raiding and searching his family's home.
On another note, Israel announced today the isolation of three villages northwest of the occupied city of Jerusalem: Beit Iksa, Nabi Samuel, and the Khalayla neighborhood, imposing entry permits on their residents in preparation for subjecting them to complete Israeli control.
This decision aims to restrict the movement of residents, control the land, and reclassify the population as residents, coinciding with the expansion of settlement in the (E-1) area east of the holy Palestinian city.
This coincided with the incursion of 162 settlers today into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the direction of the Mughrabi Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.
Arrest of a Palestinian Deputy
Meanwhile, Israeli police arrested former Arab Knesset member Haneen Zoabi today after raiding her home in the city of Nazareth in the Galilee region within the 1948 territories, claiming she was inciting terrorism.
The director of the "Adalah" Center, Hussein Jabareen, stated that they do not know the details of the investigation at this moment, but she informed him that they took her to Tiberias for questioning on suspicion of inciting terrorism and supporting terrorist organizations. He added: "It is clear that this arrest is illegal, as she could have been summoned in a normal and natural manner by setting a date and place for questioning without arresting her or arriving at her family's home early in the morning accompanied by six police officers for such suspicions."
He noted that the legality of the arrest will be a central part of this case if the occupation authorities request an extension of the detention.
