استقبل وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، في الرياض اليوم، وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبدالعاطي.
وجرى خلال الاستقبال استعراض العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الشقيقين وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها في مختلف المجالات.
كما جرى بحث التطورات الإقليمية، ولا سيما الأوضاع في قطاع غزة، واستمرار الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في اعتداءاته الآثمة على سكان القطاع، وانتهاكاته الأخيرة لسيادة دولة قطر الشقيقة، وما يترتب على ذلك من تداعيات على أمن المنطقة واستقرارها، كما ناقش الجانبان أهمية توحيد الجهود المبذولة لضمان أمن المنطقة وسلامتها.
حضر الاستقبال، مساعد مدير عام الإدارة العامة لتخطيط السياسيات الأمير الدكتور عبدالله بن خالد بن سعود، ومستشار وزير الخارجية للشؤون السياسية الأمير مصعب بن محمد الفرحان، والوزير مفوض بوزارة الخارجية الدكتورة منال رضوان.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty in Riyadh today.
During the reception, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields.
They also discussed regional developments, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip, and the ongoing Israeli occupation's wrongful assaults on the residents of the Strip, as well as its recent violations of the sovereignty of the sisterly State of Qatar, and the implications of this on the security and stability of the region. The two sides also discussed the importance of unifying efforts to ensure the security and safety of the region.
Attending the reception were the Assistant Director General of the General Administration for Policy Planning, Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khalid bin Saud, the Political Affairs Advisor to the Foreign Minister, Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al Farhan, and the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Manal Radwan.
