في جريمة جديدة هزت اليمن بأكمله وأثارت غضباً واسعاً، اليوم (الخميس)، اغتال مسلحون مجهولون، مديرة صندوق النظافة والتحسين في محافظة تعز افتهان المشهري.
وقالت مصادر أمنية إن مسلحين مجهولين أطلقوا وابلاً من الرصاص على المشهري أثناء مرورها في سيارتها بمنطقة جولة سنان، وسط المدينة ولاذوا بالفرار على متن سيارة كانت قريبة من الموقع، مؤكدين أن المسلحين أطلقوا أكثر من 30 رصاصة على المرأة التي كانت تعمل جاهدة وبإمكانات بسيطة لتحسين مظهر المدينة وجودة الخدمات، وعرفت بحضورها اللافت في الفعاليات وعملها الدؤوب من أجل خدمة المواطنيين.
افتهان المشهري
وأوضحت المصادر أنه يجري تتبع المتورطين في الجريمة، وأطلقت حملة أمنية لجمع الأدلة والتحقيق في الحادثة التي أودت بحياة المشهري والتحري عن أسباب ودوافع الجريمة.
الرصاص على السيارة
وندد مختلف الشخصيات والناشطين اليمنيين بالجريمة التي طالت امرأة تقوم بنشاط إنساني في خدمة المجتمع والعمل على تطهير المدينة من الأوبئة والأمراض، واصفين الجريمة بـ«البشعة» و«الصادمة»، كونها تطال أول امرأة مسؤولة في اليمن.
In a new crime that has shaken all of Yemen and sparked widespread outrage, today (Thursday), unknown gunmen assassinated the director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Taiz Governorate, Iftihan Al-Mashhari.
Security sources stated that unknown gunmen opened fire on Al-Mashhari while she was passing through the Sanan Roundabout in her car, fleeing the scene in a vehicle that was nearby. They confirmed that the gunmen fired more than 30 bullets at the woman, who had been working diligently with limited resources to improve the city's appearance and the quality of services. She was known for her prominent presence at events and her tireless work for the benefit of the citizens.

The sources clarified that efforts are underway to track down those involved in the crime, and a security campaign has been launched to gather evidence and investigate the incident that claimed Al-Mashhari's life, as well as to explore the reasons and motives behind the crime.

Various Yemeni figures and activists condemned the crime that targeted a woman engaged in humanitarian activities for the community and working to cleanse the city of epidemics and diseases, describing the crime as "atrocious" and "shocking," as it affects the first female official in Yemen.
