أدانت فرنسا الهجوم البري الذي شنه جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على مدينة غزة، داعية حكومة الاحتلال إلى وضع حد لهذه الحملة التدميرية التي لم يعد لها أي منطق عسكري.
وأكدت وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية في بيان أن الوضع الإنساني والصحي في قطاع غزة خطر للغاية، ويعاني سكان القطاع من المجاعة وغياب الوصول إلى الضروريات الأساسية والرعاية الطبية الطارئة.
ودعت الوزارة سلطات الاحتلال إلى رفع جميع القيود المفروضة على دخول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى غزة فوراً، واستئناف المفاوضات في أسرع وقت ممكن، بهدف التوصل إلى وقف لإطلاق النار وإطلاق سراح جميع الرهائن.
