أكد رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني الدكتور رشاد العليمي أن الاعتداء الإسرائيلي على دولة قطر تجاوز كافة الخطوط الحمراء وانتهك جميع القوانين والأعراف الدولية، موضحاً أن الأمن العربي والإسلامي كلٌ لا يتجزأ وأنه لا يمكن كبح سياسية التوسع الإسرائيلي وأوهام الهيمنة الإقليمية إلا من خلال تدابير جماعية ذات أثر ملموس.
وقال في كلمته بالقمة العربية الإسلامية المنعقدة في العاصمة القطرية الدوحة: «إن استمرار الإبادة الجماعية من قبل إسرائيل في غزة دون محاسبة ومواصلة الاعتداءات على دول المنطقة دون رادع أدى إلى تجرؤ إسرائيل على مهاجمة قطر». متطرقا إلى مواصلة إسرائيل في تدمير مقدرات الشعب اليمني واستهداف الأصول المدنية ردا على هجمات المليشيات الحوثية العبثية العابرة للحدود والتي حولت اليمن إلى ساحة حرب بالوكالة عن داعميها، منوها إلى أن الكيانات الإرهابية المسلحة والدول التوسعية في المنطقة يمثلان وجهان لعملة واحدة وكلاهما يوفر الذرائع لتمدد الآخر ويعمل على تقويض استقرار الدول وتأجيج الصراع الإقليمي.
مقاربة أشمل للعمل العربي والإسلامي المشترك
ودعا رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني خلال القمة إلى تبني مقاربة أشمل للعمل العربي والإسلامي المشترك تقوم على الحل العادل والشامل للقضية الفلسطينية استنادا إلى قرارات الشرعية الدولية، والمبادرات العربية للسلام ودعم مؤسسات الدول العربية والعمل على مكافحة الجماعات الإرهابية المسلحة وردع الدول المارقة ذات المشاريع التوسعية وفي مقدمتها إسرائيل، مشيدا بدعم التحالف العربي لدعم الشرعية اليمنية بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في تقديم نموذج للتضامن العربي في ردع التهديدات الأجنبية ومساندتهم الدائمة لليمن ووقوفهم إلى جانب الشعب اليمني، كما أشاد كذلك ببيان مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربي الذي ساند إجراءات الإصلاحات الاقتصادية والمؤسسية في اليمن وتجديد دعم دول المجلس لوحدة واستقرار اليمن.
The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Alimi, affirmed that the Israeli aggression against the State of Qatar has crossed all red lines and violated all international laws and norms, explaining that Arab and Islamic security is an indivisible whole and that Israeli expansionism and illusions of regional hegemony can only be curbed through collective measures with a tangible impact.
In his speech at the Arab-Islamic summit held in the Qatari capital, Doha, he stated: "The continued genocide by Israel in Gaza without accountability and the ongoing assaults on countries in the region without deterrence have emboldened Israel to attack Qatar." He addressed Israel's ongoing destruction of the capabilities of the Yemeni people and its targeting of civilian assets in response to the reckless cross-border attacks by Houthi militias, which have turned Yemen into a battleground on behalf of its supporters, noting that armed terrorist entities and expansionist states in the region represent two sides of the same coin, both providing justifications for each other's expansion and working to undermine the stability of countries and fuel regional conflict.
A Broader Approach to Joint Arab and Islamic Action
During the summit, the President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council called for adopting a broader approach to joint Arab and Islamic action based on a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, grounded in international legitimacy resolutions, Arab peace initiatives, and support for the institutions of Arab states while working to combat armed terrorist groups and deter rogue states with expansionist agendas, foremost among them Israel. He praised the support of the Arab coalition for the Yemeni legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in presenting a model of Arab solidarity in deterring foreign threats and their ongoing support for Yemen and standing by the Yemeni people. He also commended the statement of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which supported economic and institutional reform measures in Yemen and renewed the Council's support for the unity and stability of Yemen.
