حذر الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية أحمد أبو الغيط، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، من خطورة الصمت على جرائم إسرائيل التي تقوض النظام الدولي بأكمله، موضحاً أن العدوان الإسرائيلي على قطر فاق كل الحدود.
وقال أبو الغيط خلال كلمة له في القمة العربية الإسلامية: «رسالتنا للمجتمع الدولي هي كفى صمتاً على جرائم إسرائيل»، معتبراً أن غياب المحاسبة والإفلات من العقاب يشجع قادة إسرائيل على الجرائم.
ولفت إلى أن تبريرات إسرائيل للعدوان على قطر سقوط أخلاقي.
من جهة أخرى، دعا رئيس الوزراء العراقي محمد شياع السوداني إلى تشكيل تحالف واسع يضم الدول العربية والإسلامية لمواجهة التحديات الأمنية والاقتصادية، وتفعيل منظومة «الردع المشترك»، مشدداً على ضرورة إصدار موقف دولي يدين الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية.
وأكد السوداني، في كلمته أمام القمة العربية الإسلامية في الدوحة، أن «إسرائيل تواصل انتهاكها للقوانين الدولية، وتسعى لتوسيع الصراع في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، وتذهب للتحدث علناً عن تغيير الحدود الدولية باستخدام القوة»، مضيفاً: أن استمرار هذه السياسات دون رادع، سيعمق من عدم الاستقرار ولن يحقق الأمن لأي طرف.
ودعا السوداني المجتمع الدولي لتحمل مسؤولياته تجاه ما تقوم به إسرائيل في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية المحتلة.
The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, warned today (Tuesday) of the dangers of silence regarding Israel's crimes that undermine the entire international system, explaining that the Israeli aggression against Qatar has exceeded all limits.
Aboul Gheit stated during his speech at the Arab Islamic Summit: “Our message to the international community is enough silence on Israel's crimes,” considering that the absence of accountability and impunity encourages Israeli leaders to commit crimes.
He pointed out that Israel's justifications for the aggression against Qatar are a moral failure.
On another note, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani called for the formation of a broad coalition that includes Arab and Islamic countries to confront security and economic challenges, and to activate the "joint deterrence" system, emphasizing the necessity of issuing an international stance condemning Israeli attacks.
Al-Sudani confirmed, in his speech at the Arab Islamic Summit in Doha, that “Israel continues to violate international laws, seeks to expand the conflict in the Middle East, and openly talks about changing international borders using force,” adding that the continuation of these policies without deterrence will deepen instability and will not achieve security for any party.
Al-Sudani urged the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding what Israel is doing in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
