حذّر الرئيس الروسي السابق دميتري ميدفيديف، اليوم (الإثنين)، من خطورة حماية حلف شمال الأطلسي «الناتو» للمجال الجوي الأوكراني، واصفاً ذلك بمثابة إعلان حرب.
وأكد ميدفيديف أن تنفيذ الفكرة الاستفزازية لكييف وغيرها بإقامة منطقة حظر جوي فوق أوكرانيا، والسماح لدول الناتو بإسقاط مسيّراتنا، يعني شيئاً واحداً فقط، وهو حرب الناتو مع روسيا.
1,200 ضحية
في غضون ذلك، كشفت منظمات غير حكومية، اليوم (الإثنين)، مقتل وإصابة أكثر من 1,200 مدني أوكراني في قصف بالذخائر العنقودية أوكرانيا منذ بداية الحرب الروسية الأوكرانية في فبراير 2022، متوقعة أن يكون العدد الفعلي للضحايا أعلى بكثير.
وحذّر مرصد الذخائر العنقودية في تقريره السنوي من خطورة هذه الأسلحة، معرباً عن خيبة أمله من «الانتكاسات المثيرة للقلق» في الجهود العالمية للقضاء على هذه الأسلحة.
وأشار إلى أنّ الجيش الروسي استخدمها «بشكل مكثّف» منذ اليوم الأول للحرب، مبيناً أن الجيش الأوكراني اعتمد الذخائر العنقودية أيضاً، بينما تتهمه روسيا باستخدامها على أراضيها.
ولفت التقرير إلى أن أوكرانيا سجلت عام 2024، سقوط 193 ضحية من إجمالي 314 ضحية مسجّلة في العالم، موضحاً أن نحو 40 هجوماً وقع بذخائر عنقودية على الأراضي الأوكرانية لم يتم إعلان تسجيل خسائر بشرية جراءها.

Medvedev confirmed that the implementation of the provocative idea from Kyiv and others to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine, and allowing NATO countries to shoot down our drones, means only one thing: NATO's war with Russia.
1,200 Victims
Meanwhile, NGOs revealed today (Monday) that more than 1,200 Ukrainian civilians have been killed or injured in cluster munitions attacks in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in February 2022, estimating that the actual number of victims is much higher.
The Cluster Munition Monitor warned in its annual report about the dangers of these weapons, expressing disappointment over the "alarming setbacks" in global efforts to eliminate them.
It noted that the Russian army has used them "intensively" since the first day of the war, indicating that the Ukrainian army has also relied on cluster munitions, while Russia accuses it of using them on its territory.
The report highlighted that Ukraine recorded in 2024 a total of 193 victims out of 314 recorded worldwide, explaining that about 40 attacks occurred with cluster munitions on Ukrainian territory without any reported human losses.
