أقرّ المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإيراني، اليوم (الأحد)، الاتفاق المبرم بين وزير الخارجية عباس عراقجي، والوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في القاهرة، مؤكداً أنها متوافقة مع قرار اللجنة النووية التابعة للمجلس.
وحذر المجلس من أنه «في حال اتخاذ أي إجراء عدائي ضد طهران سيتم تعليق تنفيذ الاتفاق مع الوكالة الأممية»، فيما قالت اللجنة النووية التابعة للمجلس إن الاتفاقية متوافقة في خطوطها العامة مع ما سبق أن أقرته اللجنة.
مراجعة الاتفاق
وأشارت اللجنة إلى أنه «تمت مراجعة نص هذه الترتيبات من قبل اللجنة النووية، وتمت الموافقة على ما تم التوقيع عليه»، مشدداً على أن أي تعاون مستقبلي مع الطاقة الذرية بشأن منشآت إيران النووية التي تعرضت لهجمات عسكرية إسرائيلية وأمريكية سيبقى مشروطاً بموافقة المجلس.
وذكرت أن تنفيذ الترتيبات مع الوكالة قد يُعلّق بالكامل إذا تكررت أي أعمال عدائية ضد طهران، وفقاً لما نقلته وكالة «مهر» الإيرانية.
وتتألف اللجنة من مسؤولين كبار من مختلف المؤسسات المعنية وتمتلك تفويضاً دائماً لاتخاذ القرارات باسم المجلس.
وأفاد البيان أن إيران لن تقدم أي تقارير للوكالة قبل التأكد من استعادة الظروف الأمنية والوقائية الملائمة في المنشآت التي تعرضت لهجمات، على أن تُعرض التقارير لاحقاً على المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي لمراجعتها والمصادقة عليها.
اليورانيوم تحت الأنقاض
وكانت إيران، قد قالت (الخميس)، إن مخزونها من اليورانيوم المخصب «لا يزال تحت أنقاض المواقع النووية» التي قصفتها إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة يونيو الماضي، مبينة أن تنفيذ التعاون مع الوكالة بشأن هذه التقارير، لن يتم إلا عبر آليات مشتركة يتفق عليها الطرفان، مع التأكيد على ضرورة أن تحظى كل خطوة بموافقة المجلس وبتطابق كامل مع الإجراءات الداخلية الإيرانية.
ووقعت إيران والوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية بالعاصمة المصرية القاهرة، (الثلاثاء)، اتفاقاً لاستئناف التعاون الفني بين الجانبين، ومنها الإجراءات العملية لعودة أنشطة تفتيش المنشآت النووية، وسط تحذيرات إيرانية من أن تطبيق عقوبات الأمم المتحدة يعني نهاية الخطوات العملية المنصوص عليها في الاتفاق.
The Iranian Supreme National Security Council approved today (Sunday) the agreement reached between Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the International Atomic Energy Agency in Cairo, confirming that it is consistent with the decision of the council's nuclear committee.
The council warned that "if any hostile action is taken against Tehran, the implementation of the agreement with the UN agency will be suspended," while the council's nuclear committee stated that the agreement is generally consistent with what the committee had previously approved.
Review of the Agreement
The committee indicated that "the text of these arrangements was reviewed by the nuclear committee, and approval was granted for what was signed," emphasizing that any future cooperation with the atomic energy agency regarding Iran's nuclear facilities that have been subjected to Israeli and American military attacks will remain conditional on the council's approval.
It was mentioned that the implementation of the arrangements with the agency could be completely suspended if any hostile actions against Tehran are repeated, according to what was reported by the Iranian news agency "Mehr."
The committee consists of senior officials from various relevant institutions and has a permanent mandate to make decisions on behalf of the council.
The statement indicated that Iran will not provide any reports to the agency until it is ensured that suitable security and preventive conditions are restored in the facilities that were attacked, and that the reports will later be presented to the Supreme National Security Council for review and approval.
Uranium Under the Rubble
Iran stated (on Thursday) that its stock of enriched uranium "remains under the rubble of the nuclear sites" that were bombed by Israel and the United States last June, indicating that cooperation with the agency regarding these reports will only occur through joint mechanisms agreed upon by both parties, with an emphasis on the necessity for every step to receive the council's approval and to fully comply with Iranian internal procedures.
Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency signed an agreement in Cairo, Egypt, (on Tuesday) to resume technical cooperation between the two sides, including practical measures for the return of inspection activities at nuclear facilities, amid Iranian warnings that the application of UN sanctions means the end of the practical steps stipulated in the agreement.
