ألقت السلطات السورية على خلية إرهابية تابعة لمليشيا حزب الله كانت تخطط لتنفيذ عملية إرهابية داخل الأراضي السورية، بحسب قائد الأمن الداخلي السوري في محافظة ريف دمشق العميد أحمد الدالاتي الذي قال اليوم (الخميس) إن الخلية تنشط في بلدتي سعسع وكناكر بريف دمشق الغربي.
وأوضح قائد الأمن الداخلي في ريف دمشق، أن التحقيقات الأولية أظهرت أن أفراد الخلية تلقوا تدريبات في معسكرات داخل الأراضي اللبنانية، وكانوا يخططون لتنفيذ عمليات داخل الأراضي السورية تهدد أمن واستقرار البلاد.
أسلحة وصواريخ
وأشار إلى أنه أثناء العملية عثرت على قواعد لإطلاق الصواريخ، و19 صاروخاً من طراز «غراد»، وصواريخ مضادة للدروع، إلى جانب أسلحة فردية وكميات كبيرة من الذخائر المتنوعة، كانت بحوزة الخلية وصادرتها، مبيناً أنه تم إحالة الملف إلى الجهات المختصة لمتابعة الإجراءات القانونية، في حين تواصل الأجهزة المعنية التحقيق مع الموقوفين لكشف كامل الارتباطات والأهداف.
إجراءات أمنية مشددة
وفرضت الأجهزة الأمنية السورية إجراءات قوية على الحدود مع لبنان في الآونة وأغلقت عددا من المعابر غير الرسمية، كما شددت نقاط التفتيش في مختلف المناطق.
بدورها، أعلنت السلطات اللبنانية فرض إجراءات لوجستية وقانونية عدة ونقاط تفتيش في المناطق الحدودية مع سورية.
The Syrian authorities have arrested a terrorist cell affiliated with Hezbollah militia that was planning to carry out a terrorist operation within Syrian territory, according to the head of internal security in the Rural Damascus province, Brigadier General Ahmad al-Dalati, who stated today (Thursday) that the cell is active in the towns of Sa'sa and Kanakir in western Rural Damascus.
The head of internal security in Rural Damascus explained that initial investigations revealed that the members of the cell had received training in camps within Lebanese territory and were planning to carry out operations inside Syria that threaten the security and stability of the country.
Weapons and Missiles
He pointed out that during the operation, they found launch pads for missiles, 19 Grad missiles, anti-tank missiles, as well as individual weapons and large quantities of various ammunition that were in the possession of the cell and were confiscated. He noted that the case has been referred to the relevant authorities to follow up on legal procedures, while the concerned agencies continue to investigate with the detainees to uncover all connections and objectives.
Strict Security Measures
The Syrian security agencies have imposed strong measures on the border with Lebanon recently and closed several unofficial crossings, as well as tightening checkpoints in various areas.
For its part, the Lebanese authorities announced the imposition of several logistical and legal measures and checkpoints in the border areas with Syria.
