افتتح الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ، اليوم (الإثنين) بتيانجين شمال الصين أشغال قمة منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون.
ويشارك في هذا الحدث أيضًا الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، والأمين العام لرابطة دول جنوب شرق آسيا (آسيان)، كاو كيم هورن.
وسيترأس الرئيس شي الاجتماع الخامس والعشرين لمجلس رؤساء دول منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون، بالإضافة إلى اجتماع ضمن إطار «منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون بلس»، الذي يضم دولًا ومنظمات غير أعضاء، لكن تتمتع بصفة شريك أو مراقب.
وستكون النزاعات الدولية الراهنة، والتوترات في الشرق الأوسط، محورًا رئيسيًا للنقاشات في هذه القمة، إضافة إلى اعتماد العديد من الوثائق التي تهدف لتعزيز التعاون في المجالات الأمنية والاقتصادية والثقافية.
ونظمت الصين، التي تتولى الرئاسة الدورية لمنظمة شنغهاي للتعاون منذ يوليوز 2024، أكثر من 100 حدث تحت شعار «سنة التنمية المستدامة لمنظمة شنغهاي للتعاون».
وتهدف منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون التي تأسست سنة 2001 لمناقشة قضايا الأمن المشترك، فضلًا عن التعاون السياسي والعسكري بين دولها العشر الأعضاء، وهي الصين، والهند، وروسيا، وبيلاروسيا، وباكستان، وكازاخستان، وقيرغيزستان، وطاجيكستان، وأوزبكستان، وإيران.
Chinese President Xi Jinping opened the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit today (Monday) in Tianjin, northern China.
The event is also attended by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Kao Kim Hourn.
President Xi will chair the twenty-fifth meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in addition to a meeting within the framework of "Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus," which includes non-member countries and organizations that have partner or observer status.
Current international conflicts and tensions in the Middle East will be a key focus of discussions at this summit, along with the adoption of several documents aimed at enhancing cooperation in security, economic, and cultural fields.
China, which has held the rotating presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization since July 2024, has organized more than 100 events under the theme "Sustainable Development Year of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization."
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization, established in 2001, aims to discuss common security issues, as well as political and military cooperation among its ten member states: China, India, Russia, Belarus, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Iran.
