أعلنت الحكومة الأسترالية أن الرسوم الجمركية التي فرضتها الولايات المتحدة على الواردات ستؤثر سلبًا على ما يقارب (3000) شركة أسترالية، خصوصًا العاملة في قطاعات الصناعات الطبية والتعدينية والزراعية.
وأوضح وزير الخزانة الأسترالي جيم تشالمرز, أن هذه الإجراءات الأمريكية، التي تستهدف واردات بقيمة تتراوح بين (150) و(850) مليار دولار، ستشكل عبئًا إضافيًا على الشركات الأسترالية الصغيرة والمتوسطة التي تعتمد على التصدير إلى السوق الأمريكية.
وأكدت الغرفة التجارية الأسترالية أن هذه الرسوم قد تؤدي إلى زيادة في تكاليف الإنتاج وتراجع القدرة التنافسية للشركات المحلية، الأمر الذي قد ينعكس على فرص العمل والاستثمار في السوق الأسترالية.
The Australian government announced that the tariffs imposed by the United States on imports will negatively affect nearly (3000) Australian companies, especially those operating in the medical, mining, and agricultural sectors.
Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers explained that these American measures, targeting imports worth between (150) and (850) billion dollars, will impose an additional burden on small and medium-sized Australian companies that rely on exporting to the U.S. market.
The Australian Chamber of Commerce confirmed that these tariffs could lead to an increase in production costs and a decline in the competitiveness of local companies, which may reflect on job opportunities and investment in the Australian market.
