في خطوة تاريخية تهدف إلى إنهاء واحد من أعقد الملفات الأمنية، وترسيخ مبدأ حصرية السلاح بيد الدولة اللبنانية ومؤسساتها الشرعية، انطلقت اليوم (الخميس) من مخيم برج البراجنة في بيروت المرحلة الأولى من خطة تسليم الأسلحة، وهو مسار حاسم في حصر السلاح غير الشرعي داخل المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان.
هذه العملية جاءت نتيجة مباشرة لمقررات القمة اللبنانية – الفلسطينية التي انعقدت في 21 مايو 2025 بين الرئيسين اللبناني العماد جوزيف عون والفلسطيني محمود عباس، وتم الاتفاق على وضع آلية واضحة لمعالجة ملف السلاح وضمان أمن المخيمات والجوار، بما يكرس سلطة الدولة ويعزز الاستقرار الوطني، وتبعها في 23 مايو الماضي اجتماع مشترك للجنة الحوار اللبناني – الفلسطيني برئاسة رئيس الحكومة الدكتور نواف سلام، أُقرت خلاله خطة تنفيذية وجداول زمنية دقيقة، تقسم العملية إلى 3 مراحل: الأولى تشمل بيروت وجنوب الليطاني، الثانية تمتد إلى الشمال والبقاع، فيما تختتم الثالثة في عين الحلوة ومخيمات صيدا.
وبحسب المعطيات الرسمية، سلّمت الجهات المعنية دفعة أولى من الأسلحة إلى الجيش اللبناني وسط إجراءات أمنية وتنظيمية محكمة، على أن تتبعها دفعات أخرى خلال الأسابيع القادمة، ما يضع هذا الملف الشائك على سكة الحل التدريجي والنهائي.
وبانطلاق هذه الخطوة، تكون الدولة اللبنانية قد وضعت أسس معالجة جدية لطالما انتظرها اللبنانيون والفلسطينيون على حد سواء، لتتحول المخيمات من بؤر مسلحة إلى مساحات آمنة، تحت سلطة الدولة وحدها، وبذلك يترسخ المسار الوطني نحو إنهاء السلاح غير الشرعي على كامل الأراضي اللبنانية.
In a historic step aimed at ending one of the most complex security files and establishing the principle of exclusive arms possession by the Lebanese state and its legitimate institutions, the first phase of the arms surrender plan was launched today (Thursday) from the Burj al-Barajneh camp in Beirut. This is a decisive path in restricting illegal weapons within Palestinian camps in Lebanon.
This operation is a direct result of the decisions made at the Lebanese-Palestinian summit held on May 21, 2025, between Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. They agreed on a clear mechanism to address the arms issue and ensure the security of the camps and their surroundings, thereby reinforcing state authority and enhancing national stability. This was followed on May 23 by a joint meeting of the Lebanese-Palestinian dialogue committee, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, during which an executive plan and precise timelines were approved, dividing the process into three phases: the first includes Beirut and the southern Litani, the second extends to the north and Bekaa, while the third concludes in Ain al-Hilweh and the camps of Sidon.
According to official data, the relevant authorities delivered the first batch of weapons to the Lebanese army amid strict security and organizational measures, with additional batches to follow in the coming weeks, placing this complex file on the path to gradual and final resolution.
With the launch of this step, the Lebanese state has laid the foundations for a serious resolution that has long been awaited by both Lebanese and Palestinians, transforming the camps from armed hotspots into safe spaces, under the authority of the state alone, thereby solidifying the national path towards ending illegal weapons across all Lebanese territory.
