أعلن الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، استعداده لقاء نظيره الروسي فلاديمير بوتين من دون شروط مسبقة، لإنهاء الحرب.
وقال زيلينسكي بعد قمة مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب وقادة أوروبيين، مساء الإثنين: إن مطالبة موسكو السابقة بوقف إطلاق النار لم تفض إلا إلى شروط جديدة. وأضاف: مستعدون لأي نوع من الصيغ. وهذا يجب أن يكون على مستوى القادة.
واعتبر زيلينسكي أنه مهما يحدث يجب أن يلتقي ببوتين ويبدأ في العمل عند تلك النقطة على كيفية إنهاء الصراع، مشدداً على أن الشروط المسبقة للمحادثات من قبل كييف ستقابل بـ100 مطلب من روسيا، على حد قوله.
وأفاد الرئيس الأوكراني في وقت سابق أنه ناقش مع ترمب «نقاطاً شديدة الحساسية»، وشدد على أن الأمن في أوكرانيا يعتمد على الولايات المتحدة وأوروبا. وأكد أهمية المسائل الإنسانية مثل تبادل الأسرى واستعادة الأطفال الذين خطفتهم روسيا. وأوضح أنه سيتم العمل على تحديد الضمانات الأمنية لكييف على الأرجح في غضون 10 أيام.
ورجح في مؤتمر صحفي بعد الاجتماعات، أن يتم كشف الضمانات الأمنية من قبل شركائنا، وسيظهر المزيد والمزيد من التفاصيل. كل هذا سيتم تحديده رسمياً على الورق بطريقة أو بأخرى في غضون أسبوع إلى 10 أيام.

وقالت مصادر مطلعة إنه قبل التوجه إلى الاجتماع متعدد الأطراف مع القادة الأوروبيين في الغرفة الشرقية من البيت الأبيض، أجرى ترمب وزيلينسكي نقاشاً مطولاً بشأن الخريطة، التي عنونت بـ«خريطة الصراع الروسي الأوكراني».
وأفصحت صحيفة «كييف بوست» الأوكرانية أن الجزء الشرقي المُظلل باللون الوردي، يظهر ما يقارب 20% من مساحة البلاد الخاضعة للسيطرة الروسية.
وأضافت أن عرض الخريطة جاء أداةً محتملةً لترمب للضغط على زيلينسكي لإعادة النظر في مبدأ الأرض مقابل السلام. وعلق زيلينسكي على الخريطة بالقول لوسائل الإعلام إنه أطلع ترمب على بعض تفاصيل ساحة المعركة على الخريطة، وشكره عليها.
وأضاف أنه أجرى نقاشاً مطولاً مع الرئيس الأمريكي بشأن الخريطة.
وقال: «لقد تجادلت بشأن النسبة الموجودة على الخريطة؛ لأنني أعرف هذه النسبة جيداً».

Zelensky stated after a summit with U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders on Monday evening that Moscow's previous demand for a ceasefire only led to new conditions. He added: "We are ready for any type of formulations. This must be at the leaders' level."
Zelensky considered that no matter what happens, he must meet with Putin and start working at that point on how to end the conflict, emphasizing that preconditions for talks from Kyiv would be met with 100 demands from Russia, according to him.
The Ukrainian president earlier reported that he discussed "very sensitive points" with Trump, stressing that security in Ukraine depends on the United States and Europe. He confirmed the importance of humanitarian issues such as prisoner exchanges and the recovery of children abducted by Russia. He clarified that work will likely begin on defining security guarantees for Kyiv within 10 days.
He suggested in a press conference after the meetings that security guarantees would be revealed by our partners, and more and more details would emerge. All of this will be officially determined on paper in one way or another within a week to 10 days.
He stated that regional issues related to a potential peace agreement would be worked on between Ukraine and Russia. Zelensky revealed that there is a Ukrainian offer to purchase American weapons worth about $90 billion, noting an agreement with America to buy drones.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump presented Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with a large map in the Oval Office showing the territories seized by Russia in Ukraine.
Informed sources said that before heading to the multilateral meeting with European leaders in the East Room of the White House, Trump and Zelensky had an extensive discussion about the map, titled "Map of the Russian-Ukrainian Conflict."
The Ukrainian newspaper "Kyiv Post" disclosed that the eastern part shaded in pink shows approximately 20% of the country's area under Russian control.
It added that the presentation of the map was a potential tool for Trump to pressure Zelensky to reconsider the principle of land for peace. Zelensky commented on the map by telling the media that he briefed Trump on some battlefield details on the map and thanked him for it.
He added that he had a lengthy discussion with the U.S. president regarding the map.
He said: "I argued about the percentage shown on the map because I know this percentage very well."
