Amid the ongoing war of killing and genocide, the Israeli occupation army issued new eviction orders for residents of the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, while continuing its operations of demolishing homes and conducting intensive airstrikes today (Friday).
Several citizens were killed and injured in the shelling and gunfire from the Israeli army in various areas of the Gaza Strip. Eyewitnesses confirmed the death of 3 civilians in the shelling of a group west of Rafah city in the southern part of the strip. The Israeli forces carried out demolitions of residential buildings in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, while warplanes simultaneously launched several airstrikes on Khan Younis city to the south.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of fatalities since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Palestinian territory has reached 61,776, with 154,906 injured.
At the same time, the Israeli occupation army is preparing to implement a "plan to occupy" the entire city of Gaza gradually, which may take weeks, amid rising international and global warnings and condemnations regarding the dangers of expanding the war, the deterioration of humanitarian conditions in the besieged Palestinian territory, and the scarcity of food and medical aid, in addition to the absence of safe locations, which warns of an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
In the meantime, the newspaper "Israel Hayom" revealed that the patience of the U.S. administration regarding Israel's war in Gaza "has begun to run out," and reported that President Trump asked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to "accelerate military operations" in the territory, according to its sources.
It mentioned that Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer had previously warned in a meeting of the security cabinet (the cabinet) that "Washington's patience with the war in Gaza has begun to run out."
It quoted a source close to the White House as saying: "Trump agreed with Netanyahu in their last conversation (last Sunday) on the necessity of removing Hamas from the scene in Gaza, and asked Israel to accelerate its military operations in the territory."
While the newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" noted that after a week of the cabinet's approval of the plan to occupy Gaza City, the Israeli army received orders to prepare for the possibility of a ground invasion, it ruled out that this step would be implemented before September.
The newspaper stated that the occupation forces will continue during the remaining period until that date "their planned routine work, with the possibility of making changes to the army's weekly schedules in the context of preparing for the expected ground operation."
