كشفت وسائل إعلام عبرية ملامح خطة إسرائيلية تمتد لـ6 أشهر، تهدف إلى السيطرة الكاملة على مدينة غزة، عبر خطوات تصعيدية تشمل الإخلاء التدريجي للسكان، بدءًا من الأسبوعين المقبلين. ووفق الخطة، سيتم نقل أكثر من 800 ألف فلسطيني إلى منطقة المواصي جنوب القطاع، في عملية إجلاء تستمر ما لا يقل عن 45 يومًا، تمهيدًا لفرض طوق عسكري شامل على المدينة.
وتتضمن الخطة تعزيز الوجود العسكري الإسرائيلي عبر استدعاء قوات احتياط من الفرقة 146، ونشر الفرقة 98، ورفع عدد الفرق العسكرية العاملة في غزة إلى 6 فرق، تمهيدًا لبدء التحرك البري داخل المدينة بعد اكتمال عمليات الإخلاء. ومن المقرر أن يبدأ الطوق العسكري في 25 أكتوبر، في إطار استعدادات لاقتحام المدينة وتوسيع نطاق العمليات البرية.
ورغم تبني القيادة العسكرية الإسرائيلية لهذه الخطة، أبدت بعض القيادات الأمنية تحفظات على تنفيذها، محذرة من المخاطر الكبيرة التي قد تواجه الجنود، إضافة إلى التهديدات المحتملة لحياة الرهائن المحتجزين داخل القطاع. كما أثارت الخطة مخاوف دولية واسعة من تفاقم الكارثة الإنسانية بحق المدنيين في غزة في ظل استمرار القصف والحصار.
Hebrew media revealed the outlines of an Israeli plan extending over 6 months, aimed at complete control of the city of Gaza, through escalating steps that include the gradual evacuation of residents, starting from the next two weeks. According to the plan, more than 800,000 Palestinians will be relocated to the Mawasi area in the south of the sector, in an evacuation process that will last at least 45 days, in preparation for imposing a comprehensive military cordon on the city.
The plan includes enhancing the Israeli military presence by calling up reserve forces from the 146th division, deploying the 98th division, and increasing the number of military divisions operating in Gaza to 6 divisions, in preparation for commencing ground operations within the city after the evacuation processes are completed. The military cordon is scheduled to begin on October 25, as part of preparations for storming the city and expanding the scope of ground operations.
Despite the Israeli military leadership adopting this plan, some security leaders expressed reservations about its implementation, warning of the significant risks that soldiers may face, in addition to the potential threats to the lives of hostages held within the sector. The plan has also raised widespread international concerns about the worsening humanitarian catastrophe affecting civilians in Gaza amid ongoing bombardment and siege.
