أدانت مصر بأشد العبارات قرار المجلس الوزاري الإسرائيلي المصغر بوضع خطة لاحتلال قطاع غزة بالكامل، معتبرة القرار الإسرائيلي يهدف إلى ترسيخ الاحتلال الإسرائيلي غير الشرعي للأراضي الفلسطينية، ومواصلة حرب الإبادة في غزة، والقضاء على كافة مقومات حياة الشعب الفلسطيني.
وأكدت وزارة الخارجية المصرية في بيان لها، اليوم (الجمعة)، أن القرار الإسرائيلي يقوض حق الشعب الفلسطيني في تقرير مصيره وتجسيد دولته المستقلة وتصفية القضية الفلسطينية، وذلك في انتهاك صارخ ومرفوض للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني.
وجددت مصر التأكيد على أن مواصلة إسرائيل سياسة التجويع والقتل الممنهج والإبادة الجماعية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني الأعزل لن تؤدي سوى إلى تأجيج الصراع وتزيد من تصعيد التوتر وتعميق الكراهية ونشر التطرف في المنطقة الذي تفاقم بالفعل بسبب العدوان الإسرائيلي الغاشم على قطاع غزة وما خلّفه من كارثة إنسانية غير مسبوقة في القطاع.
ودعت مصر المجتمع الدولي، بما في ذلك مجلس الأمن وجميع الأطراف المعنية، إلى الاضطلاع بمسؤولياتهم السياسية والقانونية والأخلاقية، والتحرك العاجل لوقف سياسة العربدة وغطرسة القوة التي تنتهجها إسرائيل والتي تهدف إلى فرض أمر واقع بالقوة، وتقويض فرص تحقيق السلام، والقضاء على آفاق حل الدولتين.
وجددت الخارجية المصرية تأكيدها على أنه «لا أمن ولا استقرار ستنعم به إسرائيل والمنطقة إلا من خلال تجسيد الدولة الفلسطينية» على خطوط الرابع من يونيو 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
وأعلن المجلس الوزاري المصغر للشؤون السياسية والأمنية في إسرائيل (الكابينت) الموافقة على خطة رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو من خلال سيطرة الجيش الإسرائيلي على مدينة غزة، مع ضمان تقديم المساعدات الإنسانية للمدنيين خارج مناطق القتال، خصوصاً وسط القطاع.
وتتضن الخطة الإسرائيلية إعادة احتلال القطاع وفرض سيطرة إسرائيلية كاملة، مع تهجير سكان مدينة غزة إلى الجنوب في منطقة ضيقة، وهذه الخطوة تُعتبر جزءاً من استراتيجية أوسع تهدف إلى السيطرة الإسرائيلية على القطاع في محاولة لتصفية القضية الفلسطينية.
وتأتي هذه التطورات وسط إجماع عربي على رفض التهجير القسري للفلسطينيين، كما أكدت قمة القاهرة في مارس 2025، التي دعمت خطة مصرية لإعمار غزة ورفضت مقترحات التهجير. في الوقت نفسه، تواجه إسرائيل عزلة دولية متزايدة بسبب استمرار عملياتها العسكرية وسياساتها المتطرفة، خصوصاً مع تصريحات وزراء إسرائيليين تدعو إلى ضم الضفة الغربية أو تكثيف العمليات في غزة.
Egypt strongly condemned the decision of the Israeli mini-cabinet to put a plan in place for the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip, considering the Israeli decision aims to entrench the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, continue the genocide in Gaza, and eliminate all aspects of Palestinian life.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement today (Friday) that the Israeli decision undermines the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state, and aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause, in a blatant and unacceptable violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
Egypt reiterated that Israel's ongoing policy of starvation, systematic killing, and genocide against the defenseless Palestinian people will only lead to escalating the conflict, increasing tensions, deepening hatred, and spreading extremism in the region, which has already worsened due to the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the unprecedented humanitarian disaster it has caused in the area.
Egypt called on the international community, including the Security Council and all concerned parties, to assume their political, legal, and moral responsibilities, and to take urgent action to stop the bullying and arrogance of power practiced by Israel, which aims to impose a fait accompli by force, undermine the chances of achieving peace, and eliminate the prospects for a two-state solution.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry reaffirmed that "there will be no security or stability for Israel and the region except through the realization of the Palestinian state" along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The Israeli mini-cabinet for political and security affairs (the Cabinet) approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan for the Israeli army to take control of the city of Gaza, while ensuring the provision of humanitarian aid to civilians outside combat areas, particularly in the central region of the strip.
The Israeli plan includes the reoccupation of the strip and the imposition of complete Israeli control, with the displacement of the residents of Gaza City to the south in a narrow area. This step is considered part of a broader strategy aimed at Israeli control over the strip in an attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
These developments come amid an Arab consensus rejecting the forced displacement of Palestinians, as confirmed by the Cairo Summit in March 2025, which supported an Egyptian plan for the reconstruction of Gaza and rejected proposals for displacement. At the same time, Israel faces increasing international isolation due to the continuation of its military operations and extremist policies, especially with statements from Israeli ministers calling for the annexation of the West Bank or intensifying operations in Gaza.
