ثمن رئيس الوزراء اليمني سالم صالح بن بريك اليوم (الخميس) الجهود السعودية لخدمة ضيوف الرحمن، التي تعكس الصورة المشرفة للمملكة وتليق بريادتها في العالم الإسلامي، وذلك خلال ترؤسه في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن اجتماعاً مع وزير الأوقاف والإرشاد محمد شبيبة.
ووجه رئيس الحكومة اليمنية قيادة وزارة الأوقاف والإرشاد بإجراء إصلاحات جذرية في ملف الحج والعمرة، وإنهاء كافة أوجه القصور والاختلالات، وتحسين الخدمات وخفض كلفتها لما فيه مصلحة ضيوف الرحمن.
وأكد رئيس الوزراء أن الحكومة تنظر إلى خدمة المعتمرين والحجاج اليمنيين على أنها مسؤولية مقدسة، تتطلب أعلى درجات النزاهة والشفافية والحرص على التيسير، مشدداً على تحسين مستوى الخدمات وتقليص التكاليف التي يتحملها ضيوف الرحمن.
ووجّه رئيس الوزراء بالعمل على تنفيذ المصفوفة المتفق عليها بين وزارتي المالية والأوقاف بما تتضمنه من رؤية لمراجعة كافة الإجراءات التنظيمية والمالية والإدارية المرتبطة بالحج والعمرة، إضافة الى الرقابة على الشركات والوكالات المعتمدة، وضمان التوزيع العادل للفرص، وتفعيل آليات الشكاوى والتقييم والمساءلة، مؤكداً على ضرورة تبسيط الإجراءات أمام الحجاج والمعتمرين، وتعزيز الشفافية في تسجيل الأسماء واختيار المشرفين وتوزيع الخدمات، والتركيز على أن معيار البقاء في المسؤولية هو الأداء والكفاءة فقط.
وناقش الاجتماع عملية سير الحج للموسم 1446، وتقييم الأداء والاختلالات وأوجه القصور التي شهدها الموسم، والإجراءات الكفيلة بتجاوزها في موسم الحج القادم، والعمل على تخفيض كلفة الحج والعمرة ومراعاة الظروف الاستثنائية لليمن، دون تأثير ذلك على مستوى جودة الخدمات المقدمة. وشدد رئيس الوزراء على ضرورة اتخاذ القرارات بالشراكة مع وكالات الحج والعمرة وعدم تهميش دورها، واشراكها في إيجاد الحلول، والاستفادة من التجارب الناجحة في الدول الأخرى، والتعامل مع موسم الحج والعمرة كخدمة عامة لا مجال فيها للارتجال أو المحاباة.
The Yemeni Prime Minister, Salem Saleh bin Breik, today (Thursday) praised the Saudi efforts to serve the guests of Allah, which reflect the honorable image of the Kingdom and befit its leadership in the Islamic world, during his chairing of a meeting in the temporary capital, Aden, with the Minister of Awqaf and Guidance, Muhammad Shabeeba.
The Yemeni Prime Minister directed the leadership of the Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance to implement fundamental reforms in the pilgrimage and Umrah file, to address all shortcomings and imbalances, improve services, and reduce costs for the benefit of the guests of Allah.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the government views serving Yemeni pilgrims and Umrah performers as a sacred responsibility that requires the highest levels of integrity, transparency, and a commitment to facilitation, stressing the need to improve service levels and reduce the costs borne by the guests of Allah.
The Prime Minister instructed to work on implementing the agreed-upon matrix between the Ministries of Finance and Awqaf, which includes a vision for reviewing all organizational, financial, and administrative procedures related to Hajj and Umrah, in addition to monitoring the approved companies and agencies, ensuring fair distribution of opportunities, and activating complaint, evaluation, and accountability mechanisms. He emphasized the necessity of simplifying procedures for pilgrims and Umrah performers, enhancing transparency in name registration, selecting supervisors, and distributing services, focusing on the criterion for remaining in responsibility being solely performance and efficiency.
The meeting discussed the progress of Hajj for the 1446 season, evaluating performance, imbalances, and shortcomings witnessed during the season, and the measures necessary to overcome them in the upcoming Hajj season, while working to reduce the costs of Hajj and Umrah and considering the exceptional circumstances of Yemen, without affecting the quality of services provided. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of making decisions in partnership with Hajj and Umrah agencies and not marginalizing their role, involving them in finding solutions, benefiting from successful experiences in other countries, and treating the Hajj and Umrah seasons as a public service where there is no room for improvisation or favoritism.
