وافقت الولايات المتحدة على بيع منظومة صواريخ أرض - جو متطورة وعناصر الدعم اللوجستي لمصر بمبلغ 4.67 مليار دولار.
وتشمل الصفقة منظومات ناسامز، وهي أنظمة صواريخ أرض - جو من إنتاج شركة «آر تي إكس»، ويستخدمها على وجه الخصوص الأوكرانيون منذ أشهر للتصدي للهجمات الجوية الروسية.
وأفاد بيان صادر عن وزارة الدفاع الأمريكية بأن وزارة الخارجية وافقت على صفقة بيع عسكري محتملة إلى مصر تشمل منظومة الدفاع الجوي الوطني المتقدم (ناسامز) والعناصر المرتبطة بها من الدعم اللوجستي وبرامج الدعم، بتكلفة تقديرية تبلغ 4.67 مليار دولار.
وذكرت وكالة التعاون الأمني الدفاعي الأمريكية أن هذه الصفقة «ستدعم أهداف السياسة الخارجية والأمن القومي للولايات المتحدة من خلال تعزيز أمن حليف رئيسي من خارج حلف شمال الأطلسي يمثل قوة للاستقرار السياسي والتقدم الاقتصادي في الشرق الأوسط».
وتتضمن الصفقة: 4 منظومات رادار من طراز AN/MPQ-64F1 Sentinel مع المعدات المساندة، 100 صاروخ AMRAAM ممتد المدى (ER)، 100 صاروخ AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM جو-جو، وحدتين من وحدات التوجيه AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM (كقطع غيار)، وحدة واحدة من وحدات التحكم AMRAAM (كقطعة غيار)، 600 صاروخ تكتيكي من طراز AIM-9X Sidewinder بلوك II، (150) صاروخ تدريب من نوع AIM-9X Sidewinder (CATMs)، (62) وحدة توجيه تكتيكية من نوع AIM-9X Sidewinder بلوك II، و(20) وحدة توجيه تدريبية CATM لـ AIM-9X Sidewinder.
وتشتمل الصفقة على عناصر غير مصنّفة ضمن المعدات الدفاعية الرئيسية، منها: مراكز توزيع النيران (FDC)، أنظمة إطلاق الصواريخ في الحاويات، أنظمة كهربصرية/أشعة تحت الحمراء، أنظمة مراكز القيادة التكتيكية، أدوات تدريب ميدانية وشبكات الاتصال، أنظمة تشفير HAIPE IPS 250X، نظام التعريف الصديق من العدو (IFF) الطراز 5800 أو TPX-61، جهاز التشفير KIV-77، أجهزة تحديد المواقع العسكرية AN/PSN-13 DAGRs مع وحدة مقاومة التشويش SAASM، أجهزة تحميل المفاتيح AN/PYQ-10 SKLs، حاويات الصواريخ، معدات الدعم والاختبار، قطع الغيار، مواد الاستهلاك، شورات فنية ووثائق، تدريب الأفراد والمعدات التدريبية، دعم فني ولوجستي من الحكومة الأمريكية والمقاولين، وعناصر دعم لوجستي وبرامج أخرى مرتبطة.
ويتوقع أن تعزز الصفقة قدرات مصر الدفاعية في مواجهة التهديدات الجوية الحالية والمستقبلية.
وتعد إحدى أبرز المنظومات الصاروخية متوسطة المدى في العالم، وتعتمد على دمج رادارات متقدمة مع قاذفات صواريخ AIM-120 AMRAAM ذات التوجيه النشط، ما يمنحها مرونة عالية في الاستجابة وفعالية في تتبع واعتراض الأهداف.
ودخلت الخدمة لأول مرة في الولايات المتحدة عام 2005، ثم سرعان ما تم اعتمادها من قبل عدد من الدول، في مقدمتها النرويج وهولندا وكندا، إلى جانب استخدامها بشكل لافت في تعزيز الدفاعات الجوية لواشنطن، لاسيما في حماية البيت الأبيض.
The United States has agreed to sell an advanced ground-to-air missile system and logistical support elements to Egypt for $4.67 billion.
The deal includes NASAMS systems, which are ground-to-air missile systems produced by RTX, and have been particularly used by Ukrainians for months to counter Russian air attacks.
A statement from the U.S. Department of Defense indicated that the State Department approved a potential military sale to Egypt that includes the Advanced National Air Defense System (NASAMS) and associated logistical support and program elements, with an estimated cost of $4.67 billion.
The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency stated that this deal "will support U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives by enhancing the security of a key non-NATO ally that represents a force for political stability and economic progress in the Middle East."
The deal includes: 4 AN/MPQ-64F1 Sentinel radar systems with supporting equipment, 100 Extended Range (ER) AMRAAM missiles, 100 AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles, 2 AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM guidance units (as spare parts), 1 AMRAAM control unit (as a spare part), 600 AIM-9X Sidewinder Block II tactical missiles, 150 AIM-9X Sidewinder training missiles (CATMs), 62 AIM-9X Sidewinder Block II tactical guidance units, and 20 CATM training units for AIM-9X Sidewinder.
The deal includes unclassified elements within the major defense equipment, such as: Fire Distribution Centers (FDC), containerized missile launch systems, electro-optical/infrared systems, tactical command centers, field training tools and communication networks, HAIPE IPS 250X encryption systems, the 5800 or TPX-61 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system, KIV-77 encryption devices, AN/PSN-13 DAGRs military GPS receivers with SAASM anti-jamming unit, AN/PYQ-10 SKLs key loaders, missile containers, support and testing equipment, spare parts, consumables, technical manuals and documentation, personnel training and training equipment, technical and logistical support from the U.S. government and contractors, and other associated logistical support and programs.
The deal is expected to enhance Egypt's defensive capabilities against current and future aerial threats.
It is considered one of the most prominent medium-range missile systems in the world, relying on the integration of advanced radars with AIM-120 AMRAAM active-guided missile launchers, which provides it with high flexibility in response and effectiveness in tracking and intercepting targets.
It first entered service in the United States in 2005, and was soon adopted by several countries, including Norway, the Netherlands, and Canada, in addition to being notably used to enhance Washington's air defenses, particularly in protecting the White House.
