أعلنت مسؤولة السياسة الخارجية بالاتحاد الأوروبي كايا كالاس اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن كل الخيارات مطروحة على الطاولة إذا لم تلتزم إسرائيل بتعهداتها بتسهيل دخول المساعدات الإنسانية في غزة، محذرة الجيش الإسرائيلي من استمرار قتله للمدنيين في نقاط توزيع المساعدات.
وكتبت كالاس في منشور على إكس: «قتل المدنيين وهم يسعون للحصول على المساعدات في غزة أمر لا يمكن الدفاع عنه»، مشيرة إلى أنها أبلغت وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي جدعون ساعر بذلك وذكّرته بالتفاهمات بشأن تدفق المساعدات.
وقالت كالاس: على الجيش الإسرائيلي التوقف عن قتل الناس في نقاط التوزيع، مضيفة: «تبقى جميع الخيارات مطروحة على الطاولة إذا لم تلتزم إسرائيل بتعهداتها».
وكانت مسؤولة السياسية الخارجية بالاتحاد الأوروبي قد قالت في وقت سابق: إن إسرائيل وافقت على توسيع نطاق وصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى غزة، بما في ذلك زيادة عدد شاحنات المساعدات ونقاط العبور والطرق المؤدية إلى مراكز التوزيع.
ودعت أكثر من 25 دولة غربية إسرائيل إلى إنهاء حربها على غزة فوراً، منتقدة ما وصفته «بالقتل غير الإنساني» للفلسطينيين وأن قتل أكثر من 800 مدني أثناء محاولتهم الحصول على مساعدات أمر «مروع».
من جهة أخرى، قال الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش خلال جلسة لمجلس الأمن الدولي «إننا نشهد رعباً في غزة والمجاعة تطرق كل الأبواب بالقطاع»، فيما قالت مسؤولة الإعلام بوكالة الأونروا في غزة: نعيش مرحلة الموت وكل ما يحيط بنا هو القتل سواءً بالقنابل أو الغارات الجوية.
وأضاف: «الأطفال يذبلون ويموتون من الجوع أمام أعين الأطباء الذين يقفون عاجزين عن إنقاذهم».
وكان أطباء قد وثقوا مقتل 63 فلسطينياً بنيران جيش الاحتلال منذ فجر اليوم (الثلاثاء)، بينهم 26 من منتظري المساعدات، كما أصيب نحو 120 شخصاً جراء استهداف قوات الاحتلال منتظري المساعدات.
The European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, announced today (Tuesday) that all options are on the table if Israel does not fulfill its commitments to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, warning the Israeli army against continuing to kill civilians at aid distribution points.
Kallas wrote in a post on X: "Killing civilians as they seek aid in Gaza is indefensible," noting that she informed Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar of this and reminded him of the agreements regarding the flow of aid.
Kallas stated that the Israeli army must stop killing people at distribution points, adding: "All options remain on the table if Israel does not adhere to its commitments."
The EU's foreign policy chief had previously stated that Israel agreed to expand the scope of humanitarian aid access to Gaza, including increasing the number of aid trucks, crossing points, and roads leading to distribution centers.
More than 25 Western countries have called on Israel to immediately end its war on Gaza, criticizing what they described as the "inhumane killing" of Palestinians and stating that the killing of more than 800 civilians while they attempted to receive aid is "horrific."
On another note, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said during a session of the UN Security Council, "We are witnessing horror in Gaza, and famine is knocking on every door in the sector," while the media officer for UNRWA in Gaza stated: "We are living in a phase of death, and everything around us is killing, whether by bombs or airstrikes."
He added: "Children are wilting and dying of hunger before the eyes of doctors who stand helpless to save them."
Doctors have documented the killing of 63 Palestinians by the occupation army since dawn today (Tuesday), including 26 aid seekers, while about 120 people were injured due to the targeting of aid seekers by the occupation forces.
