The Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Raed Saleh, expressed his gratitude today (Saturday) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the support and assistance provided to those affected by the fires in Latakia, affirming that this aid is a message of genuine Arab solidarity that we cherish.

In a post on his account on "X," Minister Saleh said: "I extend my thanks and appreciation to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for the urgent response and support that has arrived over the past two days to assist those affected by the fires in Latakia Governorate." He added: "This aid is a message of genuine Arab solidarity that we cherish and will contribute to enhancing response efforts and alleviating the suffering of our people in the affected areas."

The Minister of Emergency clarified that this support is an important step towards building a strategic partnership between the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the ministry, enhancing cooperation in the fields of emergency response and disaster management in Syria.

Today, the second Saudi relief plane operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center arrived to assist those affected by the fires in Latakia.
