تجددت الاشتباكات المسلحة اليوم (الجمعة) بين قوات عشائر البدو ومجموعات درزية قرب المدخل الغربي لمركز محافظة السويداء جنوب سورية، رغم انسحاب القوات الحكومية من المنطقة مساء (الأربعاء)، بعد التوصل إلى اتفاق مع مجموعات محلية.
وذكرت وكالة «الأناضول» أن الاشتباكات تجددت في السويداء إثر قيام المجموعة الدرزية التابعة لحكمت الهجري بتهجير عشائر البدو، مبينة أن عشائر البدو استعادت بمشاركة مئات المقاتلين من قبائل عربية في مناطق أخرى من سورية بعض القرى من مجموعة الهجري، ووصلت إلى المدخل الغربي لمركز محافظة السويداء.
وأشارت الوكالة إلى أن المجموعات الدرزية المسلحة انسحبت من محيط السويداء وأقامت دفاعاتها وسط المدينة، فيما تتواصل الاشتباكات بين الجانبين قرب المدخل الغربي.
من جهته، قال رئيس تجمع عشائر الجنوب السوري راكان الخضير في تصريحات صحفية: «الأوضاع الآن صعبة للغاية وهناك أكثر من 2000 من أبناء العشائر أسرى لدى الدروز»، متهماً جماعات الهجري بالقيام بأعمال مؤسفة جداً.
وقال الخضير: «وثقنا قطع رؤوس أطفال واعتداء على نساء في السويداء»، مبيناً أن الهدف من العمليات التي يقومون بها هو تحرير أبناء العشائر الرهائن لدى جماعة الهجري.
ولفت إلى أنه وعقب خروج قوات الحكومة من السويداء أصبحت جماعة الهجري تقتل وتنكّل بأبناء العشائر، معرباً عن أمله من عقلاء السويداء وخارجها أن يعودوا إلى رشدهم للتعايش.
وأشار إلى أن الدولة السورية سحبت السلاح من أبناء العشائر في المنطقة الجنوبية، مطالباً بإخراج جميع المحتجزين والدروع البشرية وإعادة أبناء العشائر لديارهم.
بالمقابل، قالت الفصائل المسلحة التابعة للدروز في السويداء اليوم إنها باتت تسيطر على معظم المحاور الاستراتيجية في المنطقة. ووفقاً لبيان صادر عن ما يسمى بـ«المجلس العسكري في السويداء»، يواصلون تطهير بعض النقاط المحدودة التي لا تزال تشهد اشتباكات مع العناصر القادمة من مناطق مثل إدلب وغيرها.
وشهد ريف السويداء نزوحا قسريا لعشائر البدو بعد اعتداءات نفذتها مجموعات خارجة عن القانون ضد المدنيين، وارتكاب مجازر وانتهاكات بحقهم، بحسب وكالة الأنباء السورية (سانا).
Armed clashes renewed today (Friday) between the Bedouin tribes and Druze groups near the western entrance of the city of Sweida, southern Syria, despite the withdrawal of government forces from the area on Wednesday evening, following an agreement with local groups.
The Anadolu Agency reported that the clashes in Sweida resumed after the Druze group affiliated with Hikmat al-Hajri displaced the Bedouin tribes, indicating that the Bedouin tribes, with the participation of hundreds of fighters from other Arab tribes in Syria, regained some villages from al-Hajri's group and reached the western entrance of the city of Sweida.
The agency noted that the armed Druze groups withdrew from the vicinity of Sweida and established their defenses in the city center, while clashes continue between the two sides near the western entrance.
For his part, Rakan al-Khdeir, head of the Southern Syrian Tribes Gathering, said in press statements: "The situation is now extremely difficult, and there are more than 2000 members of the tribes held captive by the Druze," accusing al-Hajri's groups of committing very regrettable acts.
Al-Khdeir stated: "We have documented the beheading of children and assaults on women in Sweida," indicating that the aim of the operations they are conducting is to free the tribal members who are hostages of al-Hajri's group.
He pointed out that after the government forces left Sweida, al-Hajri's group began to kill and mistreat the tribal members, expressing hope that the wise people of Sweida and beyond would return to their senses for coexistence.
He noted that the Syrian state withdrew weapons from the tribal members in the southern region, demanding the release of all detainees and human shields and the return of the tribal members to their homes.
In contrast, the armed factions affiliated with the Druze in Sweida today stated that they now control most of the strategic axes in the region. According to a statement issued by what is known as the "Military Council in Sweida," they continue to clear some limited points that are still witnessing clashes with elements coming from areas like Idlib and others.
The countryside of Sweida has witnessed forced displacement of the Bedouin tribes following attacks carried out by lawless groups against civilians, committing massacres and violations against them, according to the Syrian news agency (SANA).
