ناقش وزير النقل السوري الدكتور يعرب بدر مع وفد من شركة ستس السعودية للاستشارات الهندسية اليوم (الثلاثاء) سبل تعزيز التعاون الفني في مجال تطوير أنظمة التعداد المروري ومراقبة الحركة على شبكة الطرق العامة في سورية.
وأفادت وكالة الأنباء السورية «سانا» أنه جرى خلال الاجتماع الذي عقد في مقر المؤسسة العامة للمواصلات الطرقية بدمشق عبر تقنية الفيديو، استعراض آليات تحديث نظام التعداد المروري ليشمل التعداد التصنيفي للمركبات، وقياس السرعة في نقاط محددة، وتحديد أوزان الشاحنات العابرة، بهدف دعم خطط الصيانة والتخطيط المستقبلي للشبكة الطرقية.
وأكد زير النقل السوري على ضرورة إنشاء نظام تعداد دائم يعمل على مدار الساعة، عبر أجهزة مراقبة ثابتة مرتبطة بمركز إدارة المرور، ما يسهم في تحسين جودة البيانات وتحليلها بشكل مستمر لتحديد مستوى خدمة الطرق واتخاذ قرارات فنية دقيقة.
من جهته، أكد نائب مدير شركة ستس الدكتور حسام عبد الجواد على أهمية إدخال تقنيات الكاميرات الذكية وتطبيقاتها لتصنيف وتتبع المركبات بدقة عالية، مشيراً إلى دورها في توفير بيانات مرورية شاملة تعزز من كفاءة التخطيط والتحكم المروري.
وشدد المجتمعون على أهمية التحول الرقمي في قطاع النقل الطرقي، وضرورة بناء بنية تحتية رقمية متكاملة تواكب المعايير العالمية في مجالي السلامة والكفاءة، وبحسب «سانا» فإن هذه الخطوة تأتي ضمن إطار الخطة الوطنية الشاملة التي تنتهجها وزارة النقل السورية لتحديث البنية التحتية الطرقية، وتطوير أنظمة المراقبة المرورية، وتعزيز التعاون الفني مع الشركاء الإقليميين، بما يسهم في إعادة تأهيل شبكة الطرق العامة وتحقيق استدامتها.
The Syrian Minister of Transport, Dr. Yarab Badr, discussed with a delegation from the Saudi company STS for engineering consulting today (Tuesday) ways to enhance technical cooperation in the field of developing traffic counting systems and monitoring movement on the public road network in Syria.
The Syrian news agency "SANA" reported that during the meeting held at the headquarters of the General Establishment for Road Transport in Damascus via video conference, mechanisms for updating the traffic counting system were reviewed to include the classification counting of vehicles, speed measurement at specific points, and determining the weights of passing trucks, with the aim of supporting maintenance plans and future planning for the road network.
The Syrian Minister of Transport emphasized the necessity of establishing a permanent counting system that operates around the clock, through fixed monitoring devices linked to the traffic management center, which contributes to improving the quality of data and its continuous analysis to determine the level of road service and make precise technical decisions.
For his part, the Deputy Director of STS, Dr. Hossam Abdel Jawad, affirmed the importance of introducing smart camera technologies and their applications for accurately classifying and tracking vehicles, noting their role in providing comprehensive traffic data that enhances the efficiency of planning and traffic control.
The attendees stressed the importance of digital transformation in the road transport sector and the necessity of building an integrated digital infrastructure that meets global standards in safety and efficiency. According to "SANA," this step comes within the framework of the comprehensive national plan adopted by the Syrian Ministry of Transport to update the road infrastructure, develop traffic monitoring systems, and enhance technical cooperation with regional partners, contributing to the rehabilitation of the public road network and achieving its sustainability.
