وصفت وزارة الخارجية الروسية الأنباء المتداولة عن دعوة الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين إيران إلى قبول الاتفاق النووي مع الولايات المتحدة، الذي يتضمن عدم تخصيب اليورانيوم، بأنها «حملة مسيّسة وقذرة». وقالت في بيان اليوم (الأحد): «يبقى من غير الواضح من يقف وراء هذا النوع من الحملات، إلا أن أحد التقارير الأخيرة التي نشرها موقع «أكسيوس» تحت عنوان: «بوتين يدعو إيران لقبول صفقة مع الولايات المتحدة تتضمن صفر تخصيب»، يبدو بوضوح أنها حملة مسيّسة وقذرة جديدة، تهدف إلى تأجيج التوتر المحيط بالبرنامج النووي الإيراني». وأكدت الخارجية الروسية أن موسكو كانت ولا تزال تؤكد مراراً على ضرورة تسوية الأزمة المتعلقة بالبرنامج النووي الإيراني عبر الوسائل السياسية والدبلوماسية.
وأعربت عن استعدادها لتقديم الدعم والمساعدة من أجل التوصل إلى حلول مقبولة للطرفين. ودعت الوزارة وسائل الإعلام العالمية المسؤولة إلى الاعتماد على المصادر الرسمية للمعلومات، والتعمق في الموضوع، وعدم ترويج الأخبار المفبركة.
ونقل موقع «أكسيوس»، أمس (السبت)، عن مصادر قولها: «إن الرئيس الروسي أبلغ نظيره الأمريكي دونالد ترمب والمسؤولين الإيرانيين بأنه يؤيد فكرة إبرام اتفاق نووي لا تستطيع طهران بموجبه تخصيب اليورانيوم».
وأفاد مصدران بأن الروس أطلعوا الحكومة الإسرائيلية أيضاً على موقف بوتين بشأن تخصيب اليورانيوم الإيراني. وقال مسؤول إسرائيلي كبير: «نعلم أن هذا ما قاله بوتين للإيرانيين». وقال مسؤول أوروبي مطلع على القضية إن بوتين سيدعم وقف التخصيب تماماً. ويشجع الإيرانيين على العمل لتحقيق ذلك لجعل المفاوضات مع الأمريكيين أكثر ملاءمة.
وأجرى مبعوث البيت الأبيض ستيف ويتكوف محادثات مع وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي حول استئناف المفاوضات النووية. وكان من المقرر عقد لقاء في أوسلو خلال الأيام القادمة، إلا أن مصادر مطلعة أفصحت أن الإيرانيين والمبعوث الأمريكي تراجعا عن الفكرة، ويبحثان عن مكان آخر.
The Russian Foreign Ministry described the circulating news about Russian President Vladimir Putin inviting Iran to accept the nuclear deal with the United States, which includes a halt to uranium enrichment, as a "politically motivated and dirty campaign." It stated in a statement today (Sunday): "It remains unclear who is behind this type of campaign, but one of the recent reports published by Axios titled: 'Putin invites Iran to accept a deal with the United States that includes zero enrichment,' clearly appears to be a new politically motivated and dirty campaign aimed at inflaming tensions surrounding the Iranian nuclear program." The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Moscow has repeatedly emphasized the necessity of resolving the crisis related to the Iranian nuclear program through political and diplomatic means.
It expressed its readiness to provide support and assistance in order to reach mutually acceptable solutions. The ministry called on responsible global media to rely on official sources of information, delve deeper into the subject, and refrain from promoting fabricated news.
Axios reported yesterday (Saturday) that sources said: "The Russian president informed his American counterpart Donald Trump and Iranian officials that he supports the idea of concluding a nuclear agreement under which Tehran would not be able to enrich uranium."
Two sources reported that the Russians also informed the Israeli government of Putin's stance on Iranian uranium enrichment. A senior Israeli official said: "We know that this is what Putin told the Iranians." An European official familiar with the issue stated that Putin would support a complete halt to enrichment and encourages the Iranians to work towards that to make negotiations with the Americans more favorable.
White House envoy Steve Wietkoff held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi regarding the resumption of nuclear negotiations. A meeting was scheduled to take place in Oslo in the coming days, but informed sources revealed that the Iranians and the American envoy have backed away from the idea and are looking for another location.
