دعت قمة مجموعة «بريكس» اليوم (الأحد) إلى «وقف فوري ودائم وغير مشروط لإطلاق النار، ورفع الحصار عن غزة، وضمان دخول المساعدات الإنسانية،»، معربة في بيانها الختامي عقب اجتماع استضافتها البرازيل عن بالغ القلق إزاء تدهور الوضع الإنساني في قطاع غزة.
وشددت القمة في بيانها على ضرورة الامتثال الكامل لقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة بالنزاع الفلسطيني-الإسرائيلي، مؤكدة أهمية إعادة إطلاق عملية سلام ذات مصداقية تؤدي إلى حل الدولتين، مع قيام دولة فلسطينية مستقلة ضمن حدود 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
وأعلنت القمة دعمها «حصول دولة فلسطين على العضوية الكاملة في الأمم المتحدة»، مرحبة بـ«انضمام فلسطين إلى عدد من المنظمات الدولية الأخرى».
ودعت «بريكس» إلى الانسحاب الكامل لإسرائيل من جميع الأراضي اللبنانية المحتلة، معلنة دعمها حق لبنان في استكشاف واستغلال موارده الطبيعية، بما في ذلك النفط والغاز في منطقته الاقتصادية الخالصة.
وأكدت المجموعة التزامها بـ«سيادة سورية ووحدتها وسلامة أراضيها»، كما نددت المجموعة بـ«الهجمات ضد إيران، بما في ذلك تلك التي استهدفت منشآت دبلوماسية».
وشددت القمةعلى ضرورة احترام القانون الدولي، وخصوصاً اتفاقية فيينا للعلاقات الدبلوماسية.
من جهة أخرى، قال وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي خلال قمة «بريكس» في البرازيل، إنه إذا لم تتم محاسبة إسرائيل على حربها ضد إيران، فإن المنطقة بأسرها وما وراءها ستعاني، بحسب ما نقلته قناة «برس تي في» عن عراقجي الذي شدد بالقول إن الهجوم الإسرائيلي خرق غير مسبوق للسلام الدولي.
وأشار وزير الخارجية الإيراني إلى أن مواطني بلاده ظلوا صامدين في الدفاع عن وطنهم.
The BRICS summit today (Sunday) called for a "immediate, permanent, and unconditional ceasefire, lifting the blockade on Gaza, and ensuring the entry of humanitarian aid," expressing deep concern in its final statement following a meeting hosted by Brazil regarding the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
The summit emphasized in its statement the necessity of full compliance with relevant United Nations resolutions concerning the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, affirming the importance of reviving a credible peace process that leads to a two-state solution, with an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders and its capital in East Jerusalem.
The summit announced its support for "Palestine's full membership in the United Nations," welcoming "Palestine's accession to a number of other international organizations."
BRICS called for Israel's complete withdrawal from all occupied Lebanese territories, announcing its support for Lebanon's right to explore and exploit its natural resources, including oil and gas in its exclusive economic zone.
The group reaffirmed its commitment to "Syria's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity," and condemned "attacks against Iran, including those targeting diplomatic facilities."
The summit stressed the necessity of respecting international law, particularly the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
On another note, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated during the BRICS summit in Brazil that if Israel is not held accountable for its war against Iran, the entire region and beyond will suffer, according to what the "Press TV" channel reported from Araghchi, who emphasized that the Israeli attack is an unprecedented violation of international peace.
The Iranian Foreign Minister pointed out that his country's citizens have remained steadfast in defending their homeland.
