لقي عنصران في الحرس الثوري الإيراني اليوم (الأحد) حتفهما في غرب البلاد خلال تفكيك متفجرات في منطقة طالها القصف الإسرائيلي خلال الحرب الأخيرة، بحسب ما نقلت وسائل إعلام محلية. ونقلت وكالة تسنيم عن بيان للحرس الثوري قوله: إن العنصرين كانا يقومان بتنظيف منطقة متفجرات خلفها العدوان الإسرائيلي.
من جانبها، أعلنت وزارة الخارجية السويسرية، الأحد، إعادة فتح سفارتها في طهران، التي تمثل المصالح الأمريكية في إيران، بعد إغلاقها لمدة أسبوعين، بسبب الحرب بين إيران وإسرائيل.
وأفادت في بيان بأن السفيرة نادين أوليفييري لوزانو وفريق عمل صغير عاد إلى طهران السبت براً عبر أذربيجان، مؤكدةً أن السفارة ستستأنف أعمالها تدريجياً.
وكانت السفارة أغلقت أبوابها في 20 يونيو وسط الحرب بين إيران وإسرائيل.
من جهة أخرى، شهدت ولاية هرات غرب أفغانستان عودة نحو 300 ألف لاجئ من إيران خلال الأيام الـ12 الأخيرة. ووصلت أعداد اللاجئين العائدين من إيران إلى أكثر من 35 ألف شخص يومياً، معظمهم من الأسر والأطفال، مقارنة بـ3 آلاف شخص يومياً في مطلع الشهر الماضي.
وأعلن رئيس الثقافة والإعلام في ولاية هرات أحمد الله متقي أنه خلال 12 يوماً وصل أكثر من 300 ألف شخص من إيران إلى معبر إسلام قلعة في هرات. وأضاف أن نحو 38 ألف شخص عادوا إلى أفغانستان الجمعة، بينهم نحو 24 ألف شخص تم ترحيلهم قسراً من قبل السلطات الإيرانية.
وأعربت المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين عن قلقها العميق إزاء نفاد الموارد المتاحة لمساعدة العائدين الأفغان من إيران. وحذرت من تفاقم الأزمة الإنسانية في أفغانستان، إذ يواجه آلاف العائدين العجز في المأوى، والخدمات الصحية الأساسية، ومياه الشرب الآمنة، وفرص العمل.

Two members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were killed today (Sunday) in the west of the country while dismantling explosives in an area that was bombed by Israel during the recent war, according to local media reports. The Tasnim news agency reported a statement from the Revolutionary Guard saying that the two members were cleaning up explosives left behind by the Israeli aggression.
For its part, the Swiss Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday the reopening of its embassy in Tehran, which represents American interests in Iran, after being closed for two weeks due to the war between Iran and Israel.
It stated in a statement that Ambassador Nadine Olivieri Lozano and a small team returned to Tehran on Saturday by land through Azerbaijan, confirming that the embassy will gradually resume its operations.
The embassy had closed its doors on June 20 amid the war between Iran and Israel.
On another note, the province of Herat in western Afghanistan has witnessed the return of about 300,000 refugees from Iran over the past 12 days. The number of returning refugees from Iran has reached more than 35,000 people daily, most of whom are families and children, compared to 3,000 people daily at the beginning of last month.
Ahmadullah Mutqi, the head of culture and information in Herat province, announced that over 300,000 people have arrived from Iran at the Islam Qala border crossing in Herat within 12 days. He added that about 38,000 people returned to Afghanistan on Friday, including approximately 24,000 who were forcibly deported by Iranian authorities.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees expressed deep concern over the depletion of resources available to assist Afghan returnees from Iran. It warned of the worsening humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, as thousands of returnees face shortages of shelter, basic health services, safe drinking water, and job opportunities.
