وسط أنباء عن اجتماع مرتقب بين الفصائل الفلسطينية في القاهرة، وجهود يبذلها الوسيطان (المصري والقطري) مع واشنطن بشأن ضمانات تطلبها حركة حماس، أعلنت وزارة الخارجية المصرية اليوم (السبت)، أن الوزير بدر عبدالعاطي بحث هاتفياً مع المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف تطورات المفاوضات الرامية إلى التوصل لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة.
وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان أن وزير الخارجية عبدالعاطي ناقش مع ويتكوف التحضير لعقد اجتماعات غير مباشرة بين حركة حماس وإسرائيل للتوصل لاتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار، مبينة أن عبدالعاطي وويتكوف ناقشا أيضاً التحضيرات الجارية لعقد المؤتمر الدولي لإعادة إعمار غزة، فور التوصل لوقف إطلاق النار بين إسرائيل وحماس.

ومن المتوقع أن تجرى غداً المحادثات غير المباشرة بين حركة حماس وإسرائيل لمناقشة آليات تنفيذ اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار المنتظر في غزة وفق المقترح الجديد المعدل، وبحسب مصادر فلسطينية فإن الاتصالات مع الوسطاء تتواصل من أجل وقف الحرب الإسرائيلية على غزة، وموعد لبدء المفاوضات وإعلان دخول الهدنة وتنفيذ الاتفاق.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام عربية أن هناك ترتيبات تجرى لقعد اجتماع في القاهرة بين مسؤولين مصريين وقيادات من حماس والجهاد وفصائل فلسطينية أخرى في أقرب وقت.
وينص المقترح على أن يتم الإفراج عن 10 محتجزين إسرائيليين أحياء وعدد من الجثث على دفعتين في الأسبوعين الأول والخامس، ولا يزال المقترح ينتظر المفاوضات المباشرة على النقاط الثلاث التي لا تزال تعرقل الصفقة وهي إنهاء الحرب ودخول المساعدات وانسحاب جيش الاحتلال من غزة.
Amid reports of an anticipated meeting between Palestinian factions in Cairo, and efforts being made by the mediators (Egyptian and Qatari) with Washington regarding guarantees requested by Hamas, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today (Saturday) that Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed by phone with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff the developments in the negotiations aimed at reaching a ceasefire in Gaza.
The ministry clarified in a statement that Foreign Minister Abdelatty discussed with Witkoff the preparations for holding indirect meetings between Hamas and Israel to reach an agreement for a ceasefire, indicating that Abdelatty and Witkoff also discussed the ongoing preparations for holding an international conference for the reconstruction of Gaza, as soon as a ceasefire is reached between Israel and Hamas.

Indirect talks between Hamas and Israel are expected to take place tomorrow to discuss the mechanisms for implementing the anticipated ceasefire agreement in Gaza according to the newly revised proposal. According to Palestinian sources, communications with the mediators are ongoing to stop the Israeli war on Gaza, set a date to start negotiations, and announce the entry into the truce and the implementation of the agreement.
Arab media reported that arrangements are being made to hold a meeting in Cairo between Egyptian officials and leaders from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other Palestinian factions as soon as possible.
The proposal stipulates that 10 living Israeli detainees and several bodies will be released in two batches during the first and fifth weeks. The proposal is still awaiting direct negotiations on the three points that continue to obstruct the deal, which are ending the war, allowing aid to enter, and the withdrawal of the occupation army from Gaza.
