فيما حذر برنامج الأغذية العالمي من أن نافذة الفرصة لدرء المجاعة في غزة تغلق بسرعة، قتل 73 فلسطينيا اليوم (الخميس) في غارات إسرائيلية على مناطق متفرقة في القطاع، بينهم 33 من منتظري المساعدات.
وذكرت مصادر فلسطينية أن الاحتلال ارتكب 26 مجزرة خلال يومين راح ضحيتها أكثر من 300 قتيلاً ومئات الجرحى، مبينة أن القصف الإسرائيلي طال أنحاء مختلفة من القطاع ومنتظري المساعدات وخيام النازحين ومنازل لمواطنين وتجمعات لمدنيين.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن غارات إسرائيلية استهدفت منازل في حي الزيتون جنوبي مدينة غزة، فيما قصف الاحتلال الإسرائيلي خيمة للنازحين في حي الشيخ رضوان بمدينة غزة، ودمرت غارتان إسرائيليتان مدرسة فهد الصباح التي تؤوي نازحين في حي التفاح شرقي مدينة غزة، بعد إنذار بإخلائها.
وذكرت المصادر أن جيش الاحتلال قصف تجمعا للمواطنين على الدوار الغربي في بيت لاهيا شمالي القطاع، وأدى لمقتل عدد من الفلسطينيين وإصابة آخرين، كما استهدفت غارات خياما تؤوي نازحين في منطقة المواصي، واندلعت النيران في عدد من الخيام والتهمتها بشكل كامل قبل السيطرة عليها.
في الوقت ذاته، حذر برنامج الأغذية العالمي من أن نافذة الفرصة لدرء المجاعة في غزة تُغلق بسرعة، مشدداً على الحاجة الحاجة الماسة إلى الغذاء الطارئ للمدنيين.
وأوضح البرنامج العالمي أن عدم وصول المساعدات الإنسانية على نطاق واسع سيُجبر آلاف العائلات الأخرى إلى حافة الهاوية.
بدورها، قالت المقررة الأممية المعنية بحقوق الإنسان في فلسطين: إسرائيل مسؤولة عن واحدة من أكثر عمليات الإبادة وحشية في التاريخ الحديث، مؤكدة أن مؤسسة غزة الإنسانية عبارة عن فخ موت مصمم لقتل أو تهجير السكان.
وأشارت إلى أن الوضع في قطاع غزة تجاوز حد الكارثة، مطالبة بفرض حظر كامل على الأسلحة لإسرائيل وتعليق كل الاتفاقيات التجارية معها.
وكانت المتحدثة باسم البيت الأبيض كارولين ليفيت قد قالت خلال لقائها مجموعة من الأسرى المفرج عنهم من غزة، إن ترمب يعمل جاهدا على إنهاء الحرب الوحشية في غزة وإعادة جميع المحتجزين إلى ديارهم، فيما ذكرت المتحدثة باسم الخارجية الأمريكية تامي بروس أن ترمب كان واضحاً حينما شدد على ضرورة قبول المقترح المطروح بشأن وقف إطلاق النار في غزة وحذر من أن الوضع قد يزداد سوءا إن لم يتم قبوله.
بدورها، قالت حركة حماس إنها تتعامل بمسؤولية عالية، وتجري مشاورات وطنية لمناقشة مقترحات جديدة تلقتها من الوسطاء، من أجل الوصول إلى اتفاق يضمن إنهاء العدوان، وتحقيق الانسحاب، وتقديم الإغاثة بشكل عاجل في قطاع غزة.
While the World Food Programme warned that the window of opportunity to avert famine in Gaza is closing rapidly, 73 Palestinians were killed today (Thursday) in Israeli airstrikes on various areas in the Strip, including 33 aid seekers.
Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces committed 26 massacres over two days, resulting in more than 300 deaths and hundreds of injuries, indicating that the Israeli bombardment targeted various parts of the Strip, aid seekers, displaced persons' tents, citizens' homes, and civilian gatherings.
The sources pointed out that Israeli airstrikes targeted homes in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood south of Gaza City, while the Israeli occupation bombed a tent for displaced persons in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City. Two Israeli airstrikes destroyed the Fahd Al-Sabah school, which shelters displaced persons in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, after a warning to evacuate.
The sources mentioned that the occupation army shelled a gathering of citizens at the western roundabout in Beit Lahiya in the northern Strip, resulting in the deaths of several Palestinians and injuries to others. Airstrikes also targeted tents housing displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area, igniting fires in several tents and completely consuming them before they could be controlled.
At the same time, the World Food Programme warned that the window of opportunity to avert famine in Gaza is closing rapidly, emphasizing the urgent need for emergency food for civilians.
The global program clarified that the lack of widespread humanitarian aid will push thousands of other families to the brink of disaster.
For her part, the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in Palestine stated: Israel is responsible for one of the most brutal genocides in modern history, asserting that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is a death trap designed to kill or displace the population.
She noted that the situation in the Gaza Strip has surpassed the threshold of catastrophe, calling for a complete arms embargo on Israel and the suspension of all trade agreements with it.
White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt stated during her meeting with a group of released prisoners from Gaza that Trump is working hard to end the brutal war in Gaza and to return all detainees to their homes. Meanwhile, U.S. State Department spokesperson Tami Bruce mentioned that Trump was clear when he emphasized the necessity of accepting the proposed ceasefire in Gaza and warned that the situation could worsen if it is not accepted.
For its part, Hamas stated that it is acting with high responsibility and is conducting national consultations to discuss new proposals received from mediators, in order to reach an agreement that ensures the end of the aggression, achieves withdrawal, and provides urgent relief in the Gaza Strip.
