أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أمس (الثلاثاء)، أن إسرائيل وافقت على الشروط اللازمة لهدنة في قطاع غزة مدتها 60 يوماً.
وأضاف في منشور على حسابه في منصة «تروث سوشال»: «ممثلون عني عقدوا اجتماعاً طويلاً وبنّاءً مع الإسرائيليين اليوم بشأن غزة».
وأوضح أن إسرائيل «وافقت على الشروط اللازمة لإتمام وقف لإطلاق النار لمدة 60 يوماً، وخلال هذه الفترة سنعمل مع جميع الأطراف لإنهاء الحرب».
وتابع: «سيقدم القطريون والمصريون، اللذان عملا بجد لإحلال السلام، هذا الاقتراح النهائي».
واختتم قائلاً: «آمل، لمصلحة الشرق الأوسط، أن تقبل «حماس» بهذا الاتفاق، لأن الوضع لن يتحسن، بل سيزداد سوءاً».
وكان ترمب قد صرّح في وقت سابق أمس، بأن الولايات المتحدة تسعى للتوصل إلى هدنة بين إسرائيل و«حماس» في قطاع غزة «خلال الأسبوع القادم».
U.S. President Donald Trump announced yesterday (Tuesday) that Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions for a 60-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
He added in a post on his account on the "Truth Social" platform: "Representatives of mine held a long and constructive meeting with the Israelis today regarding Gaza."
He clarified that Israel "has agreed to the necessary conditions to implement a ceasefire for 60 days, and during this period we will work with all parties to end the war."
He continued: "The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked hard to achieve peace, will present this final proposal."
He concluded by saying: "I hope, for the sake of the Middle East, that Hamas accepts this agreement, because the situation will not improve; it will only get worse."
