شنّ جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، اليوم (الجمعة)، سلسلة غارات على مرتفعات جنوب لبنان. وأعلن أنه هاجم «موقعاً لحزب الله في نطقة جبل البوفور جنوب لبنان».
وشدد بيان الجيش على أنه لن يسمح لحزب الله بإعادة تأهيل مواقعه المستهدفة في جنوب لبنان. وأظهرت صور متداولة التفجيرات الناجمة عن الغارات الإسرائيلية على مرتفعات جنوب لبنان. وذكر شهود عيان أن الغارات الإسرائيلية استهدفت تحديدا مرتفعات «علي الطاهر» في جنوب لبنان.
وأكدت مصادر لبنانية أن المقاتلات الإسرائيلية غارة جديدة على النبطية في جنوب لبنان.
وكانت طائرة مسيرة تابعة لسلاح الجو الإسرائيلي استهدفت دراجة نارية يقودها أحد عناصر حزب الله، بحسب الإعلام المحلي، في محيط مدينة بيت ليف، جنوب لبنان، وقتل من كان على متنها. واستهدفت مسيرة أخرى بصاروخ جرافة صغيرة بين بلدتي برعشيت وشقرة، وكانت المنطقة في السابق موقع إطلاق صواريخ على إسرائيل.
وأعلنت وزارة الصحة اللبنانية، إصابة مواطن بجروح بالغة في القصف.
فيما دخلت دورية آلية تابعة للقوات الإسرائيلية (الخميس)، إلى قرية حولا الحدودية، وأفاد شهود عيان أن القوات الإسرائيلية زرعت ألغاماً في منزل يعود لأحد عناصر «حزب الله»، ثم فجرته.
وهاجم سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي في 23 يونيو أكثر من 12 بلدة في جنوب لبنان، وأعلنت قيادة الجيش بأن الغارات استهدفت منشآت عسكرية ومخازن أسلحة ومنصات إطلاق صواريخ تابعة «لحزب الله» شمال نهر الليطاني، ولم ترد أنباء عن سقوط ضحايا.
يذكر أن وزارة الخارجية اللبنانية قدمت طلباً إلى الأمم المتحدة لتمديد مهمة القوة الدولية العاملة في الجنوب «اليونيفيل» في شهر أغسطس القادم.
ونوه الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون أمام وفد عسكري بريطاني رفيع (الأربعاء)، بأهمية التمديد لقوات اليونيفيل، معتبراً أنها تمثل ركيزة أساسية للحفاظ على الاستقرار والأمان على الحدود الجنوبية.

The Israeli occupation army launched a series of airstrikes today (Friday) on the heights of southern Lebanon. It announced that it attacked "a Hezbollah position in the area of Jabal al-Bufor in southern Lebanon."
The army's statement emphasized that it would not allow Hezbollah to rehabilitate its targeted positions in southern Lebanon. Images circulated showed the explosions resulting from the Israeli airstrikes on the heights of southern Lebanon. Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli airstrikes specifically targeted the "Ali al-Tahir" heights in southern Lebanon.
Lebanese sources confirmed that Israeli fighter jets carried out a new strike on Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.
A drone belonging to the Israeli Air Force targeted a motorcycle driven by a Hezbollah member, according to local media, in the vicinity of the town of Beit Lif in southern Lebanon, killing those on board. Another drone targeted a small bulldozer with a missile between the towns of Barashit and Shaqra, an area that had previously been a launch site for rockets aimed at Israel.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that a citizen was seriously injured in the shelling.
Meanwhile, an Israeli military patrol entered the border village of Hula (Thursday), and eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli forces planted mines in a house belonging to a Hezbollah member and then detonated it.
The Israeli Air Force attacked more than 12 towns in southern Lebanon on June 23, and the army's command announced that the airstrikes targeted military facilities, weapon depots, and rocket launch platforms belonging to Hezbollah north of the Litani River, with no reports of casualties.
It is worth noting that the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted a request to the United Nations to extend the mission of the international force operating in the south, "UNIFIL," next August.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun highlighted the importance of extending UNIFIL forces in front of a high-ranking British military delegation (Wednesday), considering that they represent a fundamental pillar for maintaining stability and security along the southern border.
