The Yemeni Prime Minister, Salem bin Breik, reviewed the latest developments in various political, economic, service, military, and security levels, as well as regional and international developments and their implications for the local situation, the expected scenarios, and the state and government's position to deal with them. This includes focusing on the main battle to complete the restoration of the state and end the Houthi coup. He emphasized, during his chairing of the government meeting in the temporary capital, Aden, the necessity of the government's readiness to address the requirements of the stage, which carries serious challenges, in accordance with a vision that enables overcoming all difficulties in providing appropriate solutions to issues affecting the lives and livelihoods of citizens.

The meeting addressed the latest updates on the security and field situation, the military stance across the operational theater, and the combat readiness level of the defense and security institutions to deal with any options in light of the directives of the political leadership and government. He pointed out the aspects of coordination and integration among various military and security formations to enhance the field position in line with the requirements of the current circumstances and their potential paths.

The Council of Ministers praised the achievements made in combating terrorism, including the apprehension of several cells linked to the Houthi terrorist militia and thwarting their destructive plans in several liberated governorates.

The Council directed the military and security agencies to raise readiness and double efforts to combat terrorism and its elements cooperating with the Houthi militia, to deliver preemptive strikes against them, and to thwart their plans aimed at destabilizing security and stability. It also called for continuing campaigns to apprehend the terrorist elements involved in disrupting oil and gas supplies and vandalizing public and private properties, stressing the importance of enhancing integration and coordination among various security, military, and intelligence agencies to eliminate drug trafficking networks and establish a clear mechanism to limit their spread.

The Council of Ministers affirmed the government's full support for the defense and security institutions to carry out their duties and the importance of raising combat readiness and preparedness for all possibilities and options to fulfill their missions in defending the homeland and completing the restoration of the state.

The Council of Ministers appreciated the Saudi support for Yemen through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program, which continues to implement numerous projects across all sectors and fields.
