وسط تصاعد الصراع في الشرق الأوسط، على خلفية المواجهة المشتعلة بين إيران وإسرائيل، يترقب العالم مهلة الأسبوعين التي تحدث عنها الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، لاتخاذ قراره بشأن الانخراط في الحرب، كشفت بيانات تتبع الرحلات الجوية والاتصالات الصوتية، عن تحرك قاذفات الشبح بي-2، التي تعتبر الوحيدة القادرة على حمل قنابل «GBU-57 E/B»
وأظهرت البيانات أن 6 قاذفات شبح من طراز بي-2، انطلقت من قاعدة وايتمان الجوية في ميزوري، متجهة نحو قاعدة جوية أمريكية في غوام في المحيط الهادئ، وفقاً لما أوردته شبكة «فوكس نيوز».
وتعد القاذفات الشبح، الوحيدة القادرة على التخفي، وحمل ما يعرف بـ «أم القنابل»، التي تعتبر الوحيدة في العالم القادرة على خرق تحصينات عميقة تحت الأرض، كمنشأة «فوردو» الإيرانية.
وتعتبر قنبلة GBU-57 E/B التي تزن 30 ألف رطل (13607 كلغ)، أقوى قنبلة غير نووية في العالم. كما أنها موجهة بدقة، وترتبط بقنبلة GBU-43 Massive Ordnance Air Blast المعروفة أحياناً باسم «أمّ القنابل».
وتتمتع هذه القنبلة بقدرة تدميرية هائلة، بل السلاح الوحيد القادر على تدمير المنشآت النووية الإيرانية المدفونة بعمق تحت الأرض على غرار منشأة فوردو، إذ تستطيع اختراق 200 قدم (61 متراً) تحت الأرض قبل الانفجار، بما يختلف ذلك عن الصواريخ أو القنابل التي تنفجر عادة عند أو بالقرب من نقطة الاصطدام.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي منح قبل يومين طهران مهلة أسبوعين قبل اتخاذ قراره الحاسم، بانتظار الرد الإيراني على المقترح الأمريكي الذي قُدم سابقاً حول البرنامج النووي.
وقد عقد الرئيس ترمب مساء اليوم الاجتماع الثاني لمجلس الأمن القومي في البيت الأبيض.
Amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East, against the backdrop of the raging confrontation between Iran and Israel, the world is awaiting the two-week deadline mentioned by U.S. President Donald Trump to make his decision regarding involvement in the war. Flight tracking and voice communication data revealed the movement of B-2 stealth bombers, which are the only ones capable of carrying the "GBU-57 E/B" bombs.
The data showed that six B-2 stealth bombers took off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, heading towards a U.S. airbase in Guam in the Pacific, according to what was reported by Fox News.
The stealth bombers are the only ones capable of evading detection and carrying what is known as the "Mother of All Bombs," which is the only one in the world capable of penetrating deep underground fortifications, such as the Iranian "Fordow" facility.
The GBU-57 E/B bomb, weighing 30,000 pounds (13,607 kg), is the most powerful non-nuclear bomb in the world. It is also precision-guided and is associated with the GBU-43 Massive Ordnance Air Blast, sometimes referred to as the "Mother of All Bombs."
This bomb has an enormous destructive capability and is the only weapon capable of destroying deeply buried Iranian nuclear facilities like the Fordow facility, as it can penetrate 200 feet (61 meters) underground before detonating, unlike missiles or bombs that typically explode at or near the point of impact.
Two days ago, the U.S. president granted Tehran a two-week deadline before making his decisive decision, awaiting the Iranian response to the previously presented U.S. proposal regarding the nuclear program.
President Trump held the second meeting of the National Security Council at the White House this evening.
