حذر زعيم التيار الصدري في العراق مقتدى الصدر من توسّع الحرب بين إيران وإسرائيل، مؤكدا أن العراق وشعبه ليس بحاجة إلى حروب جديدة، داعيا إلى كتم الأصوات الفردية.
وقال الصدر في تغريدة عبر منصة «إكس»، اليوم(الجمعة): «بدأت الحرب ودارت رحاها.. واشتدّ أوارها.. ولا يعلم إلا الله نتائجها.. كما توقعنا... فقد تمادت إسرائيل لنشر إرهابها وسوف لن تكون الجارة إيران المستهدف الوحيد في المنطقة إذا ما استمرت لغة التصعيد». واعتبر أنه من المهم أن يكون العراق بعيدا عن تلك الحرب، فإن العراق وشعبه ليس بحاجة إلى حروب جديدة. ودعا الصدر إلى ما أسماه كتم الأصوات الفردية الوقحة.. والإصغاء إلى صوت الحكمة وصوت العلماء الأعلام.
ونصح الشعب العراقي بعدم الاستماع للتصريحات اللا مسؤولة التي تسعى لنشر الخوف بينكم فذلك ينفع الفاسدين في كسب أصواتكم في انتخاباتهم الهزيلة.
وكشف مصدر مقرب من «هيئة تنسيقية المقاومة العراقية» التي تضم المليشيات المدعومة من إيران، عقد اجتماع مرتقب للهيئة خلال الساعات القادمة، وسط تصاعد التوترات الإقليمية.
وأفاد مصدر في الهيئة، مساء أمس الخميس، بأن الاجتماع سيضم معظم قادة الفصائل المسلحة المنضوية ضمن الهيئة، لمناقشة تطورات الوضع في المنطقة، وإمكانية اندلاع مواجهة عسكرية مع إيران، إضافة إلى تحديد دور الفصائل العراقية في حال وقوع مثل هذا السيناريو. ولفت إلى وجود إجماع داخل الهيئة على ضرورة التدخل المباشر إلى جانب إيران في حال تعرضت لهجوم عسكري أمريكي أو إسرائيلي.
The leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, Muqtada al-Sadr, warned against the expansion of the war between Iran and Israel, emphasizing that Iraq and its people do not need new wars, and calling for the silencing of individual voices.
Al-Sadr said in a tweet on the "X" platform today (Friday): "The war has begun and its wheels are turning... and its flames have intensified... and only God knows its outcomes... as we expected... Israel has persisted in spreading its terrorism, and Iran will not be the only targeted neighbor in the region if the language of escalation continues." He considered it important for Iraq to be distant from that war, as Iraq and its people do not need new wars. Al-Sadr called for what he termed the silencing of rude individual voices... and listening to the voice of wisdom and the voice of distinguished scholars.
He advised the Iraqi people not to listen to the irresponsible statements that seek to spread fear among you, as this benefits the corrupt in gaining your votes in their meager elections.
A source close to the "Coordination Committee of the Iraqi Resistance," which includes Iran-backed militias, revealed that a meeting of the committee is expected to take place in the coming hours amidst rising regional tensions.
A source in the committee reported yesterday evening (Thursday) that the meeting will include most of the leaders of the armed factions within the committee to discuss the developments in the region and the possibility of a military confrontation with Iran, in addition to determining the role of the Iraqi factions in the event such a scenario occurs. He noted that there is a consensus within the committee on the necessity of direct intervention alongside Iran in the event of a U.S. or Israeli military attack.
