تمكَّن مشروع مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية (مسام) لتطهير الأراضي اليمنية من الألغام خلال الأسبوع الأول من شهر يونيو 2025 من انتزاع 1,139 لغماً في مختلف مناطق اليمن، منها: لغم واحد مضاد للأفراد، و56 لغماً مضاداً للدبابات، و1,080 ذخيرة غير منفجرة، وعبوتان ناسفتان.
وتمكَّن فريق «مسام» في محافظة عدن من نزع 3 ألغام مضادة للدبابات و1,016 ذخيرة غير منفجرة، وفي مديرية الخوخة بمحافظة الحديدة تم نزع عبوة ناسفة واحدة، وفي محافظة لحج تم نزع 3 ذخائر غير منفجرة في مديرية تبن، وذخيرتين غير منفجرة في مديرية طور الباحة، و7 ذخائر غير منفجرة بمديرية المضاربة.
وفي مديرية مأرب بمحافظة مأرب تم نزع 53 لغماً مضاداً للدبابات، وفي محافظة شبوة نزع الفريق 10 ذخائر غير منفجرة في مديرية عسيلان، و7 ذخائر غير منفجرة في مديرية بيحان، وفي محافظة تعز تم نزع 25 ذخيرة غير منفجرة في مديرية موزع، ونزع لغم واحد مضاد للأفراد و3 ذخائر غير منفجرة في مديرية ذباب، و19 ذخيرة غير منفجرة في مديرة المخاء، و13 ذخيرة غير منفجرة في مديرية المظفر.
وبذلك ارتفع عدد الألغام المنزوعة منذ بداية مشروع «مسام» إلى 498,683 لغماً زُرعت بعشوائية في الأرجاء اليمنية لحصد المزيد من الضحايا الأبرياء من الأطفال والنساء وكبار السن.
في حين تواصل المملكة -ممثلةً بمركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة من خلال المشروع- تطهير الأراضي اليمنية من الألغام، والإسهام في مساعدة الأشقاء اليمنيين لعيش حياة كريمة.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (Masam) project to clear Yemeni lands from mines managed to remove 1,139 mines in various regions of Yemen during the first week of June 2025, including: one anti-personnel mine, 56 anti-tank mines, 1,080 unexploded ordnance, and two explosive devices.
The "Masam" team in Aden Governorate managed to remove 3 anti-tank mines and 1,016 unexploded ordnance. In the Al-Khokha district of Al-Hudaydah Governorate, one explosive device was removed. In Lahij Governorate, 3 unexploded ordnance were removed in the Tuban district, 2 unexploded ordnance in the Tor Al-Baha district, and 7 unexploded ordnance in the Al-Mudharabah district.
In the Marib district of Marib Governorate, 53 anti-tank mines were removed. In Shabwa Governorate, the team removed 10 unexploded ordnance in the Aysilan district and 7 unexploded ordnance in the Bayhan district. In Taiz Governorate, 25 unexploded ordnance were removed in the Mawza district, one anti-personnel mine and 3 unexploded ordnance in the Dhubab district, 19 unexploded ordnance in the Al-Mokha district, and 13 unexploded ordnance in the Al-Mudhaffar district.
Thus, the total number of mines removed since the beginning of the "Masam" project has reached 498,683 mines that were randomly planted throughout Yemen to claim more innocent victims among children, women, and the elderly.
Meanwhile, the Kingdom, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center through the project, continues to clear Yemeni lands from mines and contribute to helping the Yemeni brothers live a dignified life.
