عقدت اللجنة الوزارية المكلفة من القمة العربية الإسلامية الاستثنائية المشتركة بشأن غزة، برئاسة وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، ومشاركة نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين في الأردن أيمن الصفدي، ووزير خارجية البحرين الدكتور عبداللطيف بن راشد الزياني، ووزير الخارجية والهجرة وشؤون المصريين بالخارج في مصر الدكتور بدر عبدالعاطي، والأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية أحمد أبو الغيط، اجتماعاً عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي مع رئيس دولة فلسطين محمود عباس، وبمشاركة نائب رئيس دولة فلسطين حسين الشيخ، ورئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية الفلسطيني الدكتور محمد مصطفى.
وأطلعت اللجنة الرئيس الفلسطيني على تحركاتها في إطار الجهود الدولية الرامية للوقف الفوري للعدوان الإسرائيلي على قطاع غزة وإنهاء الحصار والكارثة الإنسانية فيه، كما أحاطته بالجهود القائمة في إطار التحضير لإنجاح المؤتمر الدولي رفيع المستوى من أجل التسوية السلمية للقضية الفلسطينية وتنفيذ حل الدولتين المقرر عقده في نيويورك، برئاسة مشتركة بين المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية فرنسا خلال يونيو الجاري، ضمن مساعي تجسيد الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة على خطوط الرابع من يونيو 1967، وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
وأكدت اللجنة دعم الجهود المبذولة من جمهورية مصر العربية ودولة قطر والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لتحقيق وقف فوري ودائم لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، وطالبت إسرائيل بالسماح الفوري لدخول المساعدات الإنسانية والطبية بشكل كافٍ ومستدام، والسماح للمنظمات الأممية وفي مقدمتها وكالة الأمم المتحدة لغوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في الشرق الأدنى (الأونروا) بإيصال المساعدات إلى جميع أنحاء القطاع، ووقف التصعيد الإسرائيلي الخطير في الضفة الغربية.
كما أكدت اللجنة أهمية عقد المؤتمر الدولي للتعافي المبكر وإعادة الإعمار في قطاع غزة، الذي سيعقد في القاهرة فور التوصل لوقف إطلاق النار، لتنفيذ خطة إعادة الإعمار التي اعتمدتها القمة العربية الطارئة التي عقدت في القاهرة في 4 مارس 2025.
وأكدت اللجنة أهمية دعم السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية، مشيدة بالجهود والخطوات الإصلاحية التي أطلقها الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس.
وعبرت اللجنة عن إدانتها تعطيل إسرائيل الزيارة التي كانت مقررة للجنة إلى رام الله اليوم، ما يعد انتهاكاً للأعراف الدبلوماسية ويعكس نهجاً خطيراً في تعطيل مساعي اللجنة لتحقيق السلام العادل والشامل ودعم الخطوات الإصلاحية للحكومة الفلسطينية، مؤكدة أن هذه الخطوة غير مستغربة من الحكومة الإسرائيلية وسياساتها المتطرفة التي تمعن في منع دخول الغذاء والدواء إلى قطاع غزة وعرقلة جهود تحقيق السلام.
من جهته، ثمّن الرئيس الفلسطيني جهود اللجنة الوزارية في حشد التأييد الدولي لوقف الحرب على قطاع غزة وإنهاء الكارثة الإنسانية في القطاع ودفع مسار تنفيذ حل الدولتين، معرباً عن تطلعه لإنجاح المؤتمر الدولي رفيع المستوى من أجل التسوية السلمية للقضية الفلسطينية وتنفيذ حل الدولتين وتوسيع مسار الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين.
وأكد الرئيس الفلسطيني التزام الحكومة الفلسطينية ببرنامجها الإصلاحي وتطلعها لتضافر الجهود الدولية لتقديم الدعم على الصعيد السياسي والاقتصادي والأمني بما يعزز جهودها الإصلاحية، مطالباً إسرائيل بالإفراج عن الأموال الفلسطينية التي تحتجزها، مجدداً الالتزام الكامل بنبذ العنف واستهداف المدنيين والسعي الدؤوب لإحلال الأمن والسلام بالتعاون مع الأشقاء العرب والشركاء الدوليين، معرباً عن أمله باستضافة اللجنة الوزارية قريباً على أرض فلسطين.
The ministerial committee tasked by the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit regarding Gaza, chaired by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, with the participation of Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Bahrain's Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Egyptians Abroad Dr. Badr Abdelatty, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit, held a meeting via video conferencing with the President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, with the participation of the Deputy President of the State of Palestine Hussein Al-Sheikh and the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine Dr. Mohammad Mustafa.
The committee informed the Palestinian president about its movements within the framework of international efforts aimed at an immediate cessation of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and ending the blockade and humanitarian catastrophe there. It also briefed him on the ongoing efforts to prepare for the success of the high-level international conference for a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution, which is scheduled to be held in New York, co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic during this June, as part of efforts to realize an independent Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The committee affirmed its support for the efforts made by the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the United States of America to achieve an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. It demanded that Israel allow the immediate entry of humanitarian and medical aid in sufficient and sustainable amounts, and permit UN organizations, foremost among them the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), to deliver aid throughout the sector, and to stop the dangerous Israeli escalation in the West Bank.
The committee also emphasized the importance of holding the international conference for early recovery and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip, which will be held in Cairo as soon as a ceasefire is reached, to implement the reconstruction plan adopted by the emergency Arab summit held in Cairo on March 4, 2025.
The committee stressed the importance of supporting the Palestinian National Authority, praising the efforts and reform steps initiated by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
The committee expressed its condemnation of Israel's obstruction of the visit that was scheduled for the committee to Ramallah today, which constitutes a violation of diplomatic norms and reflects a dangerous approach in hindering the committee's efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace and support the reform steps of the Palestinian government. It affirmed that this step is not surprising from the Israeli government and its extremist policies that persist in preventing food and medicine from entering the Gaza Strip and obstructing efforts to achieve peace.
For his part, the Palestinian president appreciated the ministerial committee's efforts in rallying international support to stop the war on the Gaza Strip and end the humanitarian catastrophe in the sector and to advance the implementation of the two-state solution. He expressed his hope for the success of the high-level international conference for a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution and the expansion of the recognition of the State of Palestine.
The Palestinian president affirmed the Palestinian government's commitment to its reform program and its aspiration for international efforts to provide support on the political, economic, and security fronts to enhance its reform efforts, demanding that Israel release the Palestinian funds it is holding. He reiterated the full commitment to renounce violence and targeting civilians and the relentless pursuit of establishing security and peace in cooperation with Arab brothers and international partners, expressing his hope to host the ministerial committee soon on Palestinian soil.
