أعلن المبعوث الأمريكي إلى المنطقة ستيف ويتكوف اليوم (السبت) تسلمه رداً من «حماس» على مقترح الولايات المتحدة، مؤكداً أنه غير مقبول بتاتاً ولن يؤدي إلا إلى تراجعهم.
وقال ويتكوف: يمكن إجراء المفاوضات غير المباشرة بنية صادقة للتوصل لوقف نار دائم بغزة، مشدداً على ضرورة إعادة نصف الرهائن الأحياء ونصف الأموات للتوصل لهدنة 60 يوماً.
وطالب المبعوث الأمريكي «حماس» بقبول المقترح الذي قدمه كأساس لبدء محادثات غير مباشرة، لافتاً إلى أنه يمكن البدء في محادثات غير مباشرة بشأن غزة فوراً الأسبوع القادم.
وأضاف ويتكوف: هذه الطريقة الوحيدة لإبرام اتفاق وقف إطلاق نار 60 يوماً، يعود بموجبه نصف الأسرى الأحياء ونصف الأموات، ويمكننا من خلال الاتفاق إجراء مفاوضات جوهرية في محادثات التقارب بحسن نية سعياً لوقف دائم لإطلاق النار.
وكانت «يسرائيل هيوم» قد نقلت عن مسؤول أمريكي قوله إن رد حركة حماس لا يؤيد تماماً الإطار الذي طرحه المبعوث الأمريكي للمنطقة ستيف ويتكوف، ولكنه إيجابي إلى حد كبير.
وكانت حركة حماس، قد أعلنت تسليم ردها إلى الوسطاء على مقترح المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف الأخير، مؤكدة أن الرد جاء بما يحقّق وقفاً دائماً لإطلاق النار، وانسحاباً شاملاً للجيش الإسرائيلي من قطاع غزة، وضمان تدفّق المساعدات إلى الفلسطينيين.
وقالت الحركة إنه في إطار هذا الاتفاق سيتمّ إطلاق سراح 10 من المحتجزين الإسرائيليين الأحياء، إضافة إلى تسليم 18 جثماناً، مقابل عدد يُتّفق عليه من الأسرى الفلسطينيين، مبينة أن تسليم ردها على المقترح الأمريكي تم بعد إجراء جولة مشاورات وطنية، وانطلاقاً مما اعتبرته مسؤوليتها تجاه الشعب الفلسطيني ومعاناته.
فيما قالت المتحدثة باسم الخارجية الأمريكية، لـ«فوكس نيوز»: إن المبعوث ستيف ويتكوف والرئيس دونالد ترمب يركزان على وقف المذبحة في غزة، موضحة أنهم يحتاجون إلى إيصال المزيد من المساعدات الإنسانية إلى سكان غزة.
وأشارت إلى أن العالم يراقب ويفهم مدى تقلب الوضع في غزة، مبينة أن ترمب كان متفائلاً جداً أمس بشأن وقف إطلاق النار في غزة.
وينص مقترح ويتكوف على وقف إطلاق النار لمدة 60 يوماً، يضمن خلالها الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب التزام إسرائيل بوقف القتال، ويقضي الاتفاق بإدخال المساعدات الإنسانية إلى غزة فوراً وتوزيعها عبر قنوات متفق عليها، بما في ذلك الأمم المتحدة والهلال الأحمر.
ويشدد الاتفاق على إطلاق 10 رهائن إسرائيليين أحياء و18 رهينة متوفين في اليومين الأول والسابع وفق (5 أحياء و9 متوفين) في اليوم الأول من الاتفاق و(5 أحياء و9 متوفين) في اليوم السابع، كما يؤكد الاتفاق على إرسال المساعدات إلى غزة فور موافقة «حماس» على اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.
ويتضمن الاتفاق وقف جميع الأنشطة العسكرية الهجومية الإسرائيلية في غزة عند دخول هذه الاتفاقية حيز التنفيذ، ويُوقف الطيران الجوي (العسكري والاستطلاعي) في قطاع غزة لمدة 10 ساعات يومياً، أو 12 ساعة يومياً خلال أيام تبادل الأسرى والمفقودين.
من جهة أخرى، أعلن رئيس إقليم إميليا- رومانيا في شمال إيطاليا قطع علاقات إقليمه مع إسرائيل، موضحاً أن الخطوة جاءت احتجاجاً على ما يجري في قطاع غزة.
ويقع الإقليم في منطقة إدارية في شمال إيطاليا تضم منطقتي إميليا ورومانيا التاريخيتين، وعاصمته هي بولونيا.
The American envoy to the region, Steve Witkoff, announced today (Saturday) that he received a response from "Hamas" to the U.S. proposal, confirming that it is absolutely unacceptable and will only lead to their retreat.
Witkoff stated: Indirect negotiations can be conducted in good faith to reach a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, emphasizing the necessity of returning half of the living hostages and half of the deceased to reach a 60-day truce.
The American envoy urged "Hamas" to accept the proposal he presented as a basis for starting indirect talks, noting that indirect discussions regarding Gaza could begin immediately next week.
Witkoff added: This is the only way to conclude a 60-day ceasefire agreement, whereby half of the living prisoners and half of the deceased would be returned, and through the agreement, we can conduct substantive negotiations in good faith in pursuit of a permanent ceasefire.
Israel Hayom reported that an American official said that Hamas's response does not fully support the framework proposed by the American envoy to the region, Steve Witkoff, but it is largely positive.
Hamas announced that it had submitted its response to the mediators regarding the latest proposal from American envoy Steve Witkoff, confirming that the response aims to achieve a permanent ceasefire, a complete withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip, and ensuring the flow of aid to the Palestinians.
The movement stated that under this agreement, 10 of the living Israeli captives would be released, in addition to the handover of 18 bodies, in exchange for a number of Palestinian prisoners to be agreed upon, indicating that the submission of its response to the American proposal came after conducting a round of national consultations, based on what it considered its responsibility towards the Palestinian people and their suffering.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the U.S. State Department told Fox News that envoy Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump are focused on stopping the massacre in Gaza, clarifying that they need to deliver more humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza.
She pointed out that the world is watching and understands the volatility of the situation in Gaza, noting that Trump was very optimistic yesterday about a ceasefire in Gaza.
Witkoff's proposal calls for a 60-day ceasefire, during which U.S. President Donald Trump guarantees Israel's commitment to halt fighting, and the agreement stipulates the immediate entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and its distribution through agreed channels, including the United Nations and the Red Crescent.
The agreement emphasizes the release of 10 living Israeli hostages and 18 deceased hostages on the first and seventh days, according to (5 living and 9 deceased) on the first day of the agreement and (5 living and 9 deceased) on the seventh day, and it also confirms the delivery of aid to Gaza immediately upon "Hamas" agreeing to the ceasefire agreement.
The agreement includes a halt to all Israeli offensive military activities in Gaza upon the entry of this agreement into force, and it stops aerial (military and reconnaissance) flights in the Gaza Strip for 10 hours daily, or 12 hours daily during prisoner and missing persons exchange days.
On another note, the president of the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy announced the severing of his region's relations with Israel, clarifying that the step was taken in protest against what is happening in the Gaza Strip.
The region is located in an administrative area in northern Italy that includes the historical regions of Emilia and Romagna, with its capital being Bologna.
