أعلنت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية اليوم (الخميس) مقتل 55 فلسطينياً منذ فجر اليوم جراء الغارات الإسرائيلية المتواصلة على القطاع، مؤكدة توقف خدمة العلاج الكيماوي الوريدي والمتابعة الطبية لمرضى السرطان في القطاع.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن إخلاء المستشفى الأوروبي ومركز غزة للسرطان ضاعف من حدة الوضع الكارثي للمرضى، مبينة أن 11 ألف مريض سرطان في غزة دون علاج ورعاية صحية مناسبة.وأفادت الوزارة بأن 5 آلاف مريض سرطان لديهم تحويلة عاجلة للعلاج بالخارج، إما للتشخيص أو للعلاج الكيميائي والإشعاعي.بدورها، ذكرت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية (وفا) أن 23 شخصا قتلوا وأصيب آخرون في مجزرة جديدة يرتكبها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في مخيم البريج وسط قطاع غزة، مبينة أن الغارة الإسرائيلية استهدفت منزلاً يعود لعائلة القريناوي شرق مخيم البريج.وأشارت الوكالة إلى أن مواطناً قتل إثر قصف الجيش الإسرائيلي منطقة قيزان النجار جنوب مدينة خان يونس جنوب قطاع غزة، فيما انتشلت طواقم الإسعاف جثمان مواطن من منزل تعرض لقصف في عبسان الكبيرة شرق المدينة، إضافة إلى مقتل مواطن بنيران قوات الاحتلال قرب مركز للمساعدات في «محور موراغ» جنوب غرب مدينة خان يونس.وذكرت الوكالة أن طواقم الإسعاف انتشلت 3 جثامين من تحت ركام منزل جراء قصف سابق للاحتلال على حي الشجاعية شرق مدينة غزة.وأوضحت وسائل إعلام أن مواطناً فلسطينياً أصيب بنيران مسيّرة إسرائيلية في منطقة الصفطاوي شمالي غرب مدينة غزة، فيما حدث انفجار عنيف جراء قصف إسرائيلي على مركز لتوزيع المساعدات بمحيط محور نتساريم وسط قطاع غزة.من جهته، أعلن المكتب الإعلامي الحكومي بغزة أن الجوع يتصاعد والوضع الإنساني الكارثي يتفاقم، متهماً الاحتلال بمواصلة إغلاق المعابر ومنع إدخال المساعدات وعرقلة عمل المنظمات الدولية.وحمل المكتب الاحتلال المسؤولية الكاملة عن تفاقم الكارثة التي تهدد حياة 2.4 مليون مدني.دولياً، نقلت صحيفة «التلغراف» البريطانية عن المتحدث باسم الحكومة البريطانية قوله إن الحكومة تعارض بشدة توسيع العمليات العسكرية في غزة، داعياً إسرائيل إلى وقف هجومها والسماح فوراً بوصول المساعدات.وأشار إلى أن الحكومة البريطانية مستمرة برفض إصدار تراخيص لسلع عسكرية قد تستخدمها إسرائيل في الصراع.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today (Thursday) the death of 55 Palestinians since dawn due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, confirming the suspension of intravenous chemotherapy services and medical follow-up for cancer patients in the area.
The ministry explained that the evacuation of the European Hospital and the Gaza Cancer Center has exacerbated the catastrophic situation for patients, indicating that 11,000 cancer patients in Gaza are without appropriate treatment and healthcare. The ministry reported that 5,000 cancer patients have urgent referrals for treatment abroad, either for diagnosis or for chemotherapy and radiotherapy. For its part, the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that 23 people were killed and others injured in a new massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in the Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza, noting that the Israeli airstrike targeted a house belonging to the Al-Qurainawi family east of the Al-Bureij camp. The agency pointed out that a citizen was killed due to the Israeli army's shelling of the Qizan al-Najjar area south of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip, while rescue teams retrieved the body of a citizen from a house that was bombed in Abasan al-Kabira east of the city, in addition to the killing of a citizen by the occupation forces near an aid center in the "Morag Axis" southwest of Khan Younis city. The agency mentioned that rescue teams recovered 3 bodies from under the rubble of a house due to a previous bombing by the occupation on the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City. Media outlets reported that a Palestinian citizen was injured by Israeli drone fire in the Shafatawi area northwest of Gaza City, while a violent explosion occurred due to an Israeli shelling on an aid distribution center around the Netzarim Axis in central Gaza. For its part, the government media office in Gaza announced that hunger is escalating and the humanitarian situation is worsening, accusing the occupation of continuing to close the crossings, preventing the entry of aid, and obstructing the work of international organizations. The office held the occupation fully responsible for the worsening catastrophe that threatens the lives of 2.4 million civilians. Internationally, the British newspaper "The Telegraph" quoted a spokesperson for the British government as saying that the government strongly opposes the expansion of military operations in Gaza, calling on Israel to stop its attack and allow aid to reach immediately. He noted that the British government continues to refuse to issue licenses for military goods that may be used by Israel in the conflict.
