في واقعة هزت الرأي العام حول ضريبة الشهرة الافتراضية، أصدر القضاء الفرنسي حكماً بالسجن مع إيقاف التنفيذ بحق صانعي محتوى ظهرا في بث مباشر مرعب وثق الأيام الأخيرة في حياة رجل تعرض لعنف مبرح وإهانات متكررة أمام المتابعين، في بث أقيم على قناته وبموافقته الظاهرة.
أدانت محكمة جنايات نيس المتهمين رسمياً بارتكاب أعمال عنف ضد الضحية رافائيل جرافان، البالغ من العمر 46 عاماً والمعروف على منصات التواصل باسم «جان بورمانوف»، إضافة إلى إدانتهما بالتحريض على الكراهية عبر إغداق الإهانات الجارحة عليه طوال فترة البث.
ورغم قسوة المشهد وتورطهما المباشر في الإيذاء، لم توجه للمتهمين تهمة التسبب المباشر في الوفاة؛ إذ أفادت التحقيقات بأن الضحية توفي متأثراً بتدهور حالته الصحية المتراكمة أثناء نومه، في وقت تزامن مع استغراق المتهمين في النوم أيضاً دون إدراك لخطورة الموقف حتى فوات الأوان.

The Nice Criminal Court officially convicted the defendants of committing acts of violence against the victim, Raphael Gravan, a 46-year-old known on social media platforms as "Jean Bournanov," in addition to convicting them of inciting hatred by showering him with hurtful insults throughout the broadcast.
Despite the harshness of the scene and their direct involvement in the abuse, the defendants were not charged with direct causation of death; investigations revealed that the victim died as a result of the deterioration of his pre-existing health condition while he was sleeping, at a time that coincided with the defendants also falling asleep, unaware of the seriousness of the situation until it was too late.
